Incredible value for money. I stay in hotels at least once a week with my job.... I genuinely wish I could have this quality of hotel every time! Spotless, short of nothing in my room, big room for what was supposed to be a single! Staff polite and efficient. An air of opulence, refinement but without feeling stuffy or intimidating. Excellent hotel.

I could not get any hot water from the shower. My fiddling about led to missing breakfast. I should have phoned for assistance but was in a rush and could not believe it wouldn't work. The dining room smelt slightly damp. The meal was fine until the coffee.. I was expecting something better tbh. There was a nice tidy tray for kettle and cups, but there was no plug socket anywhere near. (a blanked off socket) I had to move it next to the bed.

The location was great, the place looked well cared for and clean. Good selection of in room drinks and snacks. All the staff were competent ,courteous and polite. The bed was large for a single and comfortable. The Cotes de Rhône was super (but £33).

Value for money, room plus breakfast for reasonable price (cheaper than your usual budget hotel, premier inn etc). Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast great, freshly cooked, good variety. Location is good for doing the yearly uni student drop off (20min drive to most uni halls). Location feels rural and quiet, even though close to Motorway. Can’t hear main road at all (and I’ve stayed on ground and first floor rooms).

The only negative aspect I could think of was that you could hear people coming and going in and out of their rooms, and loud voices seemed to travel.

Lovely hotel, in beautiful grounds. The usual room facilities, but the staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Looked at their evening meal menus, thought they were quite expensive for what was available. Cannot really comment on the quality of the food as I did not try it. Plenty of takeaways nearby at a fraction of the cost.

Staff very helpfull and courteous. Breakfast was served from 7am, wanted to be away by that time. I went down early and they sorted me out with a cooked breakfast and was out by 7.05am. Ideal. Room was clean and tidy, nice and quiet even though the hotel seemed quite busy.

I think it just needs a refresh in decoration and furniture it just looks shabby in places, we have a very old house and are always updating the decor, older places need it.

It’s a lovely hotel very nice staff could’nt ask for better, it’s just up the road from our parents, so very convenient, it’s clean and tidy and has a nice car park and grounds

Very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar area could do with brightening up a bit as it felt very dark, a bit dingy.

Our room was very clean add spotless. We stayed in room 1 this time and I much preferred it, to the last room we stayed in. The last room we stayed in which I think was room 3, was far too dark, especially when you’re trying to do your hair and make up and a bit on the cold side. Room 1 for us was exactly what we wanted.
