The corridors were quite narrow and windy which, along with the stairs, my elderly mother found a little confusing to navigate but they do have a lift so that does help. Getting luggage up or down the stairs can be awkward for older people. However, the staff were all to happy to assist.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The included breakfast was excellent value and delicious. It has a cosy charm that makes it feel much more intimate than its actual size. I would absolutely consider staying here again.

Road noise from the room

Beautiful gardens and decorated tastefully throughout. Excellent breakfast and enjoyed our meal. Dog friendly and room was comfortable, warm however fan provided. Ideal location for expediting the Cotswolds

However, the staff in the restaurant were a bit rude and unhelpful, which made us feel unwelcome. A warmer, more attentive attitude would have improved the experience.

I travelled with my sister and stayed in Room 4. The room was a good size, with a powerful shower and a comfortable bed. It was very airy, and I really liked it. Staff in the reception are very helpful and warm.

We have stayed at the Manor House for more than 20 years and have always enjoyed our stay. The hotel is comfortable with staff who are attentive, polite and welcoming.

Traffic noise from the road is audible in the room at night.

Beautiful period property with lovely garden. Good restaurant and breakfast offer. Rooms are well designed and clean.

Confusing as the information ( confirmed in in-room brochure) suggested 2 different restaurants, Magpie (?) and Brasserie. I assumed 2 different menus and experiences and booked a table in each venue for our 2 nights. Staff seemed confused when I said this . It was the same menu for both rooms and the assumption was that every one dined in the latter. The Brasserie was lovely as it turned out. Did not like guests being allowed to have their dogs lounging on outdoor furniture. This is unhygienic for guests, as illustrated by a male guest who had his retreiver on a outdoor settee, took him for a walk and the dog relieved itself on bushes directly outside our table in Brasserie while we ate . He then returned to the settee and the dog to the couch . Extremely unpleasant for future residents . Would ask that your staff request dogs not be allowed on furniture and enforce that rule Our overall stay was excellent but this was unpleasant

I thought that the bar prices were a little on the high side, especially for a glass of wine.

My supper in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant were both good. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Excellent private car park.

Everything was great

Lovely rooms with cheerful themed decor. Very clean & well maintained. Toilet & shower area also very clean. Excellent shower system with mixer & good ideographs to prevent guesswork on shower v handheld and hot / cold ! Nespresso Machine with pods in room made for great coffee any time. Good Breakfast served with choice of hot preparations. Property has a lovely lawn

Private cottage within hotel grounds -luxurious, comfortable and romantic. Hotel dinner and breakfast excellent with good GF options. Dog friendly with bed, bowl and iced water provided. Accessible, free car park. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly.

Only thing that was a negative for us was no central air conditioning. We would stay again, just in cooler months. Housekeeping brought us an additional fan to accommodate, we were very thankful.

We loved this location for the proximity to the train station. The gardens were beautiful, staff were so helpful and the breakfast was very good.
