Although we had a sea view, which was lovely despite the weather, the room was quite small. It was OK for a couple of nights but we would have needed a larger room in we had been there for an extended period.

Lisa and Dean were marvellous hosts and Lisa is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was very good and we had our evening meals with them as well, and they were wonderful.

Dean and Lisa were perfect hosts, from our first night to our last day. Breakfast was lovely i liked the touch of the bowl of mixed fruit and you could have had Haddock and Salmon if you wanted!! We did have a meal on the first night which was delicious, Lisa a very good cook. We will return. ps the homemade shortbread in the room was a nice touch!!

I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at the Mariners Hotel in Seaton. The location is unbeatable – directly on the seafront with stunning views over Lyme Bay. It’s perfect for coastal walks or simply relaxing and watching the waves. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the high-quality beds, and the daily housekeeping. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and thoughtful touches like a welcome tray with tea and coffee made a difference. Breakfast exceeded expectations – freshly cooked, with a good variety, and all dietary needs were accommodated without any fuss. The evening bistro meals were of excellent quality, although it’s worth noting that dinner isn’t served every night – so plan ahead. The hosts, Lisa and Dean, were genuinely friendly and attentive. No artificial hospitality – just honest, down-to-earth care for their guests. All in all, this is a quiet, well-maintained place with a personal touch and great attention to detail. If you’re looking to avoid the typical tourist crowds but still want comfort and quality, Mariners is a top choice.

Not a dislike , just a observation.......when the kettle in the room boils and clicks off it turns the telly off! Not a big issue at all but just thought I'd mention it 😊

Loved the location. We had Room 1 and the view was wonderful. Even though we stayed Fri-Sun it wasn't noisy or exceptionally busy considering the seafront location. Breakfast was great, variety of cereals, juice, fruit bowls ( my favourite), cooked breakfasts, tea and coffee. Room was clean, bed was super comfy. Nice little touches like bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge downstairs and the homemade shortbread in the room was delicious. Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate also available in the room. If we are in Seaton again this is the first place I'd look at booking.

Mariners Hotel is a wonderful place with so many lovely touches to make my stay comfortable (including home-made shortbread with a cup of tea). The location is perfect to explore Seaton and my room was very comfortable with a great view.

There was nothing not to like.

Lisa and Dean were the perfect hosts . The mariners is run to perfection with a high degree of cleanliness. The food is spot on and we wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended and it puts Warners at Chard to shame. We will return.

It is beautiful apartment which has everything you need in it for a great stay. The location is perfect with a balcony which overlooks the absolutely stunning view. It is well situated for all the local shops, restaurants and attractions. It also has parking.
