A short stroll to the town, however it's on a slight incline which was a struggle for me.

The area surrounding the property is not the nicest with abandoned buildings.

Great location just a short walk into town and parking out the front. Decor is a little dated but perfectly clean.

The shower in our room was quite small but it wasn’t a major let down.

Had a wonderful stay at Midway Guest House! Impressed but the large room and the mini fridge provided was such a great perk. The bed was very comfy and the location is fantastic. The landings and hallways smelt so good and were decorated to a high standard. Richard who greeted us was so friendly and helpful! Thanks so much guys, would definitely stay again.

Good location although in a pretty run down area. Offstreet parking - I wouldn't have wanted to leave my car elsewhere in this area. Nice welcome, great room at a great price

I had a great stay here! The room was super clean, comfy and even bigger than expected. The guesthouse is really close to the city centre and just a short walk from the beach :) Olga is an absolute angel, thanks for being so lovely and helping me with my massive bagpack! Would definitely stay here again 🙏

The only negatives we could think of were that there was no USB charging points in the room. It would have been very useful to have the inbuilt USB ports in the sockets. We did take our plug with us but it broke so this highlighted our need for one in the room.

We received a very friendly welcome from Olga. We got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble if we needed anything. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I enjoyed a hot and spacious shower. We would both recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Torquay. We were both very pleased with our stay.

Could potentially leave a few toilet rolls on the landing labelled for guests to grab as we weren’t sure if we had to ask to take them or if they were just for grabbing when needed. Also some larger soaps, conditioner and shampoo would be fantastic even if included in the room cost (although I do have a lot of hair).

Felt safe to leave our things in the room Lovely host, noticed we couldn’t find any milk and immediately came to find us to offer tea and coffee Big radiator, although we stayed in winter the room was very nice and warm

The terrible weather wasthr only disappoint.

Really friendly host who went the extra mile to make our stay easier. He saved us a parking space right outside as I'm disabled and upgraded our room to make it easier for me. The room was excellent, even had a fridge. It was modern, had everything we needed and more, very clean and modern. The decor was very tasteful and the bed was so comfy. Would definitely reco and we will be back again ☺️

The man who introduced us to the hotel was lovely; he showed us around and explained everything and made sure we knew everything. He made us feel really comfortable and even said if we need help we could phone him at any time of the night; luckily that wasnt an issue. The beds were so comfy and the shower was lovely and hot. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed for the night everything was spotless, amazing breakfast, staff was amazing and friendly! Close to the centre so only walking distance to stuff. Overall all a lovely stay would defiantly come back again.
