No food option as chef had gone home! Tried charging me for the room again even though I'd paid. Staff weren't very friendly. Room wasn't very clean and stifling hot, asked for a fantastic and they didn't have any. I could go on and on with issues.

Good location for theme park.

No air conditioning in room, it was blazing hot, the window blind was up so letting in all the hot sun. Water in cold tap was very hot, took about 5 mins to run it before it cooled down, what a waste of water! Then the tap splashed out over the basin, then slowed to a trickle. Shower came on whilst we were out and spilled all over floor. A cup of tea was NOT included in breakfast, had to pay extra. No refreshments available in room.

That we couldn’t get any tea or coffee anytime we wanted it, we left at 8:20am and there was nobody on site to take our key when we was checking out, also that we could hear absolutely every shower going off in other rooms

The walls are too thick , i could hear the person in the next room snoring and opening the emergency door was wrong considering the fowl smell that sorrounds the lodge 😒. Hygiene was fair but need to improve dusty windows and celing in the bathroom molded,Also always put extra tissues in the room had half a roll ALSO the fitted sheet was stained.

The staff was friendly ,loved the outdoor garden though its not up to standard

No toilet brush to clean up after yourself in case you stain the toilet bowl while doing number two. For me I don’t like people cleaning up after me I’d rather I do it myself.

A tad dingy and very basic facilities. Served a purpose for us but next time will probably just stop being greedy and book an actual hotel.

Arrived late, there was a lot going on. From bingo to drug dealers and even hookers, this place has everything!

Room next to external door with squeaky hinge. Mattress is hard as nails. Smelled of gloss paint.

Room cleanliness, especially the bathroom shower. Absolutely froze as room was next to the outside door to the rooms, which was open all night. So the small room heater was pointless. I slept in my coat.

Lots of parking, had a bar and cheap drinks, room size was fine, had WiFi, free tea and coffee ( urn in bar, not in the rooms.), shower gel and soap provided and shower was hot.

While I understand the property is undergoing refurbishment, that doesn’t excuse issues like a broken toilet door handle and torn wallpaper in the room. That said, I was in town for work and mainly needed a comfortable bed for the night, which it did provide. If the renovations improve these details, it could be a much better stay in the future.

You get what you pay for , but in the same mentality for the sake of a quick lick of paint on skirting boards etc , could have looked so much better

On first impressions it wasn’t what I’d have expected, but the bar staff and dj made it an unexpected experience. Bedroom was basic but a very comfortable bed . Would have had a very comfortable experience if it wasn’t for the very loud adjoining neighbours

two single beds, when I thought I'd requested a double, TV remote not working, room was ice cold on arrival.

I have stayed in comparable rooms at Blackpool and only paid 50% of the rate. It was basic at best.

There was no curtains up in the window, very difficult to get to sleep as the night was wuite light, and a distant stret light was on

Very hard well worn bed, mould all over the ensuite ceiling and constant dripping shower that over night covered the tiles with water, wholes in doors and walls, door handle nearly falling off and the roller blind covering the window hardly fitted enough to block out the light. As others have mentioned the noise from the bar and function room goes on until late and I had to leave at 7am on the Sunday morning and asked if this was OK for check out to get the £50 cash deposit back but there want anyone around at that time to check out so had to make a 40min round trip journey by 11am check out time to be able to check out and get the cash back. This was a quick last minute booking and won't make that mistake again.

The room, a bedside light would have been useful. Also a plug in the basin in the bathroom would have helped when washing.

The area. I felt very uneasy and didn't really sleep as i felt like I had to 'always have one-eye' open just in case.

It served a purpose as a place to stay for a night.

Weekends it’s a pub so very loud late at night. Some of us can sleep through noise, others not so much but it is stated that they are open to the public so can’t complain. I called to check if there was a kettle and they said they provide them on request but later told they didn’t have any. If I had known, I would’ve got my own as I have a baby. But I found alternative methods so it’s ok. Some of the rooms have bins and others didn’t and some had lamps whereas others didn’t. All the rooms should be consistent but once again, price is great.

You can’t complain with the price. We were re-accommodated so last minute by Booking.com The bed is clean and comfortable and so were the bathrooms! Staff were lovely.
