We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

FinlandThe bed in the double room was not really double but rather 1,5 :^D (140cm), so with a teenager we were a bit cramped, with a smaller child it would have been fine. My own fault partly as I didn’t look at the photos properly, just read the text. Although the house is kept really clean we came accross some some very moldy bread in the kitchen cupboard, so maybe the food people leave at the apartment is not always cleaned away. The milk in the fridge had also gone off so we didn’t get any milk in the morning.
The whole house was really clean and it was easy to communicate with the staff, checking in was also made easy. The bathroom was nice, nice shower and bath tub. The location is good, quite close to the borough market, Tate, London Eye etc., walking distance if you like walking. The neighborhood is nice. The tube stations are close, Kennington just a few minutes away and Elephant and Castle about a 10 minute walk.

RomaniaWe went for a weekend getaway to London and I have to say that our accommodation was what we expected. Good value for money & very clean, but nothing fancy. We had a bedroom in a shared house. A bathroom on the same floor as our room. Room was small, but we didn’t spent much room inside, so it was great. Also, the host provided all the necessary details beforehand and it was simple & easy to check-in and check-out.

GermanyThere was a terrible neighbor, extremely noisy, not civilized, not clean, and with a common toilet this was really stressful, it is not the mistake of the host to be honest, sound isolation was not good
Location is very central few minutes walk to 2 central tube stations and Buses, in few minutes you can be in the most beautiful places of London. The host is very nice and supported us in a conflict we had by offering us to change the room and even 2 split our family to 2 small rooms. Common kitchen is very well equipped

CanadaOnly 1 door was unlocked. Huge fire hazard if evacuation was ever required. Room was stifling with no way to secure windows to enable us to open them for fresh air as we had no key. When I emailed to enquire about the key 3 days ago, I have still not received any reply. Our holiday is now over and I wouldn't recommend this stay.
