Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLocation excellent, very quiet. Easy to reach Cardiff centre by local bus. Tony was a brilliant host and Alys the dog was a bonus! Couldn’t fault the bedroom, well equipped and little extras like an Alexa and chocolates!! The breakfast was superb, probably the best we’ve had in a b and b.

Super hosting skills a very warm welcome on arrival by Tony and his gorgeous dog Alys, complimentary drinks in fridge on arrival. good quality breakfast with nice touches such as butter dish and sauce in a dish rather than the usual plastic sachets offered. in addition to the bedroom we had our own lounge area with widescreen tv available to use driveway to park vehicle appreciated

United KingdomWe loved everything about it. No dislikes.
Everything! Good communication even prior to our trip. Tony went out of his way to make everything as perfect as could be, including a fantastic individualised breakfast. His attention to detail was great e.g bowl of fruit and sweets, and drinks in the fridge, and our room was very comfortable with a lovely bed, and the fridge and fan were very welcome as the weather was hot throughout our stay. Very convenient bus service to the city. A bonus for us was Tony's beautiful and obedient dog who gave us a lovely welcome. We will definitely return for another stay if we have the opportunity.

Morgraig was a great base for us to explore Cardiff. Located on the public transport route it was an easy 20 minute ride to the city centre. Toni and Alys were exceptional hosts and provided an extensive choice of breakfast options, from a full breakfast to healthier options. The bed was very comfortable and it was the best shower we have had on our travels. Toni went out of his way to make us feel welcome and provided lots of helpful information including details on the four falls walk up at Ystradfellte.

United StatesTony and Alys were fantastic hosts; from the minute we arrived until we left Tony was available and willing to answer all our questions and give suggestions for things not to miss. The breakfasts were a gourmet's delight. Tony is an excellent cook and I just wished I could stay longer to sample more of his cooking. The facilities were spotless very roomy, and we had access to a den/tv room for lounging (and were able to leave our heavy luggage to avoid dragging it upstairs). The location was within walking distance of several restaurant/pubs and also the bus stop which allowed us to go into Cardiff and not worry about parking. I highly recommend Morgraig and would award 15 out of 10 stars if possible. Thank you, Tony & Alys

United KingdomThe lack. of a headboard was the only downside.
The reviews that praise this B&B are spot on. The room was very good with plenty of facilities. In addition to the room, there is a lounge downstairs with a good sound system and massive TV if you have time to use them. Tony is a brilliant host, and we felt very welcome to stay. Excellent choice of breakfast. Will definitely be returning to this little gem

AustraliaWe loved everything about this place. Tony and his dog Alys are so welcoming. The accommodation is modern, with cosy touches. The amenities are five star and we wished we had booked a longer stay. Tony went above and beyond to make our time incredible! His breakfast was amazing and he gave us multiple recommendations for different things to see and places to eat. We are eternally grateful for his hospitality.

NetherlandsFor a bloke from Holland (1.90m) the beds in Wales are a bit short. That included our bed at Morgraig. I think it is a matter of getting used to it ;-). Luckily the feet end did not have an 'end panel', so I could still stretch my legs.
The owner of Morgraig-Cardiff clearly has experience in the hospitality industry (amongst others: ran a 20 rooms hotel in Brecon) and wants to make sure that his guests have a great time. He quickly helped us (e.g. to get information how to get from the railway station to the house). The location is good too, as it is easy to reach from the railway station. Bed linnen was very good, so were the towels, clearly focussed on quality and offering hospiltality.
