⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful stay at Morris Shepherd’s Hut in Carmarthen for our 11th anniversary. From the moment we arrived, Bill and Francis made us feel so welcome. They are truly lovely hosts. The hut itself was warm, cosy, and beautifully put together with everything we could possibly need. We especially loved the log burner, which made it so warm and inviting inside. The private location was peaceful and relaxing, and we enjoyed having a BBQ outside as well as the luxury of the jacuzzi. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was simply unforgettable and there's nothing like enjoying a morning coffee by your own private waterfall! Pure bliss. It really is the perfect getaway, whatever the weather. We were pleasantly surprised to have internet connection on our phones too, which was a bonus, and there were local amenities nearby when needed. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect anniversary break and would love to return again in the future. Thank you so much, Bill and Francis, for such a memorable stay. Fiona & Lawrence

What a special, spectacular place. So tranquil. The whole garden and grounds and view from the hot tub. This is an absolute gem of a place. The hosts were amazing. They went above and beyond. Everything you can think of was there and we were welcomed with such kindness and warmth. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. All the little touches and the hard work that goes in really doesn't go unnoticed. Superb place! Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to return 💖

We loved everything from relaxing in the outdoor surroundings, enjoying a summer day with the bbq area provided. Playing cards in the enclosed seating area near the stream hidden in the trees. The hut itself had everything and more! Lovely & clean, bigger than expected inside for us and plenty of storage room for us. Francis provided things, so even if we had forgotten anything, she had us covered! The bed was lovely and comfy. The pastries were delicious! The extra added items were a great touch and not at all what we expected. The hot tub is located a short walk up to the top af amazing views, and we thoroughly enjoyed making the most of relaxing here. This was such a lovely, peaceful break away, and we would definitely stay here again. Francis & Bill are both amazing hosts. Welcoming & super friendly. The weather could have been better, there is nothing bad to say about the accommodation.

It was perfect!! Better than what I expected. The attention to detail is what made it special, all the little things that some places wouldn't even think of. Me and my husband loved our stay and would highly recommend a visit! Bill and Frances were lovely and very welcoming, will definately be back!!

The rain! Although there is enough cover there to not let that spoil your stay and actually adds to the ambience of the retreat.

The setting is idyllic. Everything is catered for with breakfast provided and wood available for the fires. The hot tub view over the valley really was something else. The local area is also worth a visit. St Clears is an underestimated find. Nonna's Italian cafe is special.

Friendly. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. Made fresh pastries for me and even a birthday card and gift. The hut was comfortable and clean, perfect for my needs. The view was spectacular. And the hot tub perfection. There’s also a little waterfall which I fell asleep at night listening to along with owls. The owners really do everything they can to ensure your stay is what you need and are easy to chat to. I will be booking again!

Nothing to complain about it was pure bliss

The bedroom was so quiet but if we wanted we could open the window and hear the waterfall nearby which was therapeutic but if you closed the window it was quiet. But I would rather hear it to be honest.

The location was idyllic. The lovely hosts made us feel very welcome, and we loved the thoughtful touches such as birthday cake, card and wine complimentary chocolates, and fresh pastries. After a look around Morris, we found out that literally everything you need for a weekend away is catered for. You only have to provide food for lunch and evening meal/bbq. We made good use of the bbq area and the hot spa with amazing views. This really is the perfect location for a romantic weekend or a chill out break.

We liked that Morris has everything you possibly needed for your relaxing stay. The hosts give you your own space, with some privacy. The hot tub was the best part, so relaxing could stay in there all day.

Fabulous hosts so friendly & welcoming. Staying in morris was like being in a fairy tale. Peaceful calm & tranquil. The facilities are lovely everything you need in a cosy warm atmosphere. Bbq area was great & the hot tub was so enchanting. Lovely weekend getaway that we truly enjoyed. Hope to return year after year.

Pretty much the perfect gettaway so no real points here. The dvd player was a little bit loud and whirry?

The perfect woodland getaway, the hut is cozy and perfect for a couple. Lovely covered up barbecue space which is great come rain or shine, hot tub elevated up the hill looking over the valley and under a canopy. We spend an afternoon just chilling there having the best time despite the rain.

Brilliant variety to suit everyone's needs 5* spot on ❤️ Absolutely loved it here it was so perfect. Best hosts ever nothing was to much trouble to make sure you had a wonderful perfect stay . It was like staying in your very own fairytale wooden house , beautiful scenery private and magical. We even shared our breakfast with a gorgeous squirrel. Loved the owl at night. What more can I say ill definitely be back. It's up there with the best places I've ever stayed ❤️
