The shower was unusable at the time, it was scalding and the lights in the lounge couldn't be switched off. The host responded quickly on this but nonetheless we feel that should have been checked in advance.

The host was very responsive/present and check in was easy as the keys were left for us. We arrived early, so we appreciated early access. The bedroom was comfortable and the location in a very good areas for accessing Brecon and the Beacons.

This is a suite not a self-contained cottage, no cooking facilities, so you either need to bring an air fryer, like we did or rely on eating out. This is not a negative just a heads up to others, we had no issue with this and were aware when we booked.

Great little suite in a perfect setting, 2 minutes from a local pub and local wedding venue, both serving drinks and food to the public. Lovely setting, shared with another cottage and the owners house (we think). Owner is lovely, real accommodating and easy to talk to. Perfect location for exploring the Brecons.

Tv didn't work,no information sheet to tell us different things eg local restaurant, how far to town local knowledge .Couldn't find out how you switch lights off ,remote control in vase !,Even though there was a shared kitchen /living room would have liked another easy chair in the apartment so we could sit rather than using the bed .

Lovely location,comfy bed ,hot water,lovely grounds,close to brecon town ,didn't use hot tub but looked good.Appreciated tea coffee etc

i turned up at 11pm and left at 5am so a good bed and shower suited me but if i had been there day or evening time i would have been disappointed with sitting area, TV did not work in the bedroom

Lovely location and very accommodating host who was able to facilitate an early check in. We stayed here for a wedding at Petersone Court, which was a very convenient 5 minute walk away.

Could have done with some sort of dining table and chairs in the small hall/lobby area. Eating was a little awkward without.

It was very comfortable, and nicely located with lots of lovely country pubs, and Brecon itself, with a good range of local facilities, just a 10 minute drive away if you needed anything.

We stayed in the "mountain Suite". Noise, cleanliness and facilities were a tad disappointing. unfortunately the wall between us and the neighbours was actually just a thin wooden board between the rooms., we'd been excited for a peaceful evening together but unfortunately we were basically included in the neighbours conversations due to the weak improvised divide, you are under the same roof as other people and every time they talk or shut a door you'd hear it. Furthermore it was very stuffy and hot overnight (midsummer) but would couldn't have the windows open due to the large amount of mosquitos that came rushing in, would have been nice if they provided a fan. Would have also appreciatedl if they cleaned more thoroughly-mopping the floor between stays should be a must, they were unpleasantly sticky to walk on, not what you want after a shower or any other time in honesty. There were about 5 different little stay options of a few attached mini lodges/suites this place so you are alongside other guests, for a quiet night you'd be better off booking their cottage option. Also dupe there's not actually a mountain view from the accommodation, they however can be seen if you walk down to the end of the garden in front of the main cottage. That said it is a very convenient location in the countryside, but the hosts could make a little more effort for it to be a more enjoyable stay

A good hub to access the brecon beacons, lots of beautiful walks close by and Nice pub with great beer garden, can be at the bottom of pen y fan in 16 minutes (drive) Note directions not clear, if driving past old ford in accommodation is 300 yards further down the A40 on your RIGHT-HAND side

As others have said, the bathroom window needs a blind and TV isn’t connected.

Host couldn’t have been more helpful, even offering a lift when there was an issue with a taxi. Communication was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable. Perfect for wedding stopover.

Great little location just outside the main town of Brecon with stunning views and off road parking. Extremely helpful with my questions such as reliable taxi companies. Did their best to try and arrange an earlier check in time and exceeded expectations

Unfortunately we couldn’t complete our stay as we had an emergency back home, but the property was very good value for money & host very responsive. Bedroom very good size and comfortable.

How friendly and welcoming the owner of the cottage was, also the views looked like they would be breathtaking on a sunny day. And it was a 3 minute drive from the wedding we we're attending.

There was no mountain view only a field. No where to prepare or cook food not even a toaster. the light in the seating area cum fridge room stayed on all night, the bedroom is a bit dark had all the lights on and could still not see to read when in bed. we found the upstand in the shower room very hard to see with the dark tiles. we left the next morning and returned home, this was meant to be 3 days away to explore the Brecon area. The other property ( N0 1) would have been perfect for us

The views, and super comfortable apartment, ideal for those travelling with a dog.

Quirky, but lovely rooms, with adequate facilities in a beautiful setting. Jos was a brilliant host and takes real Welsh pride in making his guests comfortable.

On the A40 so it can get a little noisy. The room door lock didn't work and there was no switch to turn off the living room lights. We believe because the switch was in the main house which is separated by a timber panel in a double doorway. At the time we stayed the property was for sale.

Was not what I booked we booked with views didn't get no one there to meet us key left in door nothing to do food or eat food tv not working only one seat when there was 2 of us it was that bad we ended up sleeping in our clothes only stopped as I had drove over 7 hours to top it off the place was up for sale the room was for 1 person not 2 I booked a lodge with mountain views hot tub etc and instead got bed sit Lodge got up at 5am to a black cat trying to get in place that explains why there was a cat flap in bathroom door completely ruined our 35 wedding anniversary and didn't even get offered a refund of any sort

Nothing to dislike

Lovely property , great communication and key in the door ready for us as we needed an early check in , the host was great and even offered us a lift to our venue . Highly recommended , and a resident cat came to see us !!! Tea, coffee and milk to hand too....
