There is absolutely nothing I didn't like.

I had a lovely self catering room with an en-suite bathroom. The B&B is in the centre of Musselburgh so is close to all amenities and the bus stop is just a few steps away making it very easy to travel into the City. The room was spacious, very tastefully decorated and is equipped with everything you need. I really enjoyed my stay and will most certainly return.

Room was very clean and very reasonably priced. Easy to find thanks to whatsapp instructions.. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels and tea/coffee. Nice touch was fresh milk in the fridge. Definitely recommend. We stayed as a last minute booking for the fringe and was a 15 min taxi ride into centre although I'm pretty sure there's a bus to Edinburgh stops outside aswell. Couldn't be happier. Thank you very much!

I felt £180 just for a room in the area it was and sharing the bathroom. Was too high

When you arrive at the property. You can simply collect the key from the drop box. It’s very peaceful and private. I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. Thank you :)

The room was really lovely and completely self contained. Very nicely put together with a cooking hob, fridge and a lovely dinning table and chairs. Very clean bathroom and comfort clean bed. The owner took the time to leave a tray with coffee and biscuits which is great after a long day of traveling.

Nothing really other than the lack of breakfast despite being advertised as a bed and breakfast. While there is a self catering facility, it should have been made clear that guests bring their own food.

Excellent location, clean and well maintained

No WiFi. But...they don't advertise it as being included. Everyone should already have 4G on their personal phone IF this is an essential element of your daily life.

The area suited me being near family. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The room looked freshly painted and decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and the owners have thought about things that a guest would need. I'd stay here again and recommend. The shared bathroom was clean and tidy..

Only the location, but I knew it was far from the city center anyway, but if you are here for the beach, it’s a good location with good value.

Jamie was very welcoming and friendly! The room is super clean and has everything you need. He maintains the rooms very well! The room is well contacted to the city center was public buses. If you don’t mind the distance to the city center, you would like to stay there!

    BnB not B&B

The hot tap on the bathroom wash basin did not work as there was a leak on the pipework that had not been repaired. There were two small blood stains on the duvet cover. The property is advertised as B&B, but it is BnB. No breakfast is available. Only one small milk unit was provided. The location as shown on the Booking.com website is not accurate, nor is the address. It is listed as Musselburgh 128 but is actually 128 North High Street, Musselburgh. The location, as shown on your website, is on High St Musselburgh. This was inconvenient as we were looking for a place close to where our friends were staying, but ended up about 500m away from the location shown on your website, which was only 200m from our friend's house. I have some difficulty walking, so this was inconvenient. There is no reference to parking for the property, which is on-street only and is free only from 0830 - 1000 each morning. Although towels were provided, there was no dish towel, only a roll of kitchen paper, which is not very eco- friendly. The bathroom is very small, and the two part bathroom door was difficult to close from the inside and needs an additional handle on the inside, and possibly a lock for privacy.

The studio apartment was generally clean and appeared to be quite newly decorated. The bed was comfortable. The host Jamie was friendly.

Although we thought we were going to a B&B no breakfast was available. Jamie offered to bring us a roll from the takeaway over the road but we could not go to it. He suggested the Weatherspoons around the corner. The room was cold and heating could not be used. The window was double glazed but did not fit properly into frame, hence the cold and noise from the high street traffic from 6-30 am.

No breakfast. We thought Musselburgh Links would be close to sea, it was not

Previous occupant must've been smoking as room smelt of tobacco smoke. Not owners fault obviously however could've been helped by opening the big windows prior to my stay which is what I did immediately. Was fine for me but the room was accessed by an outside stair. Lovely bath however I couldn't get the jets/spa function to work. Very little cutlery, think it was 2 forks, 2 knives but only 1 spoon.

Comfortable bed Great transport location and places to eat/shop/get takeaway Hob and oven, fridge

It was a little tricky to find, as a door on the high street leads through a walkway, then one approaches the accommodation by climbing an outdoor staircase. We couldn’t find the location as it wasn’t visible in google maps etc, but the host helpfully sent a video of the view across the street to help us find it.

Host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room and shared bathroom were both very clean, modern and comfortable.

I had a lovely stay at Musselburgh Links B&B. From my arrival to departure, everything met or exceeded my expectations. After a seamless check-in with a very welcoming host, the room had everything I needed and more: comfortable bed, clean ensuite, great little kitchenette (I only needed the fridge), and at night it was surprisingly quiet given the location and that it was a Saturday night. The location is perfect too, with lots of great places to eat and drink nearby, and easy access to Edinburgh. I visited Musselburgh to cycle, and there's a great bike shop over the road which was very handy!

No milk for tea but I am sure this was just an oversight. Very hard-working lads involved in this one...

Lovely kitchenette included. Wish we'd had more time to try it out, but they were fully booked! Had a great bubble bath, very central location in old part of town.
