There was nothing l disliked about the accommodation.

It was not far from my daughter. Plenty of places for food. The hotel was great every guest was courteous of other guests.

Property is exceptionally clean and welcoming. Good supply of snacks and beverages in the room. Room was quiet with a beautiful view of the town and hills. Ideally situated in the town and central to shops and amenities.

Separate bathroom

The room was bright and airy. Great size. Loads of snacks, tea and coffee and bottled water. I would have been extremely happy had it not been for the bathroom situation. We were in room 2 and when being shown to our room on arrival we were shown our "private bathroom" along the corridor from our bedroom. There was no indication that the bathroom facilities were not in the actual room upon booking. I have to use the toilet frequently during the night and this was not at all ideal. We were only there for 2 nights and otherwise it was a lovely little place. Other rooms must have had internal bathrooms, just room 2 that didn't. Although as I said it was a lovely place and I would have given a perfect rating had it not been for this. I wouldn't have booked this place had I known. Maybe I could suggest that guests are provided with robes and slippers for this room, or sent a message letting them know to bring such things. I would go along in the night wearing my partner's coat, or after a shower run along with a towel wrapped around me hoping I wouldn't be seen!

Guests seem to be a bit of an afterthought. After being shown to the room we had no contact with any staff.

nothing I didn't like

The room was lovely and bright, clean and there were a lot of snacks and water available. I stayed the nights the pub was closed, so it was also very quiet. Nice to also have a comfy sofa in the room. Close to the high street and various food options

Unfortunately, the shower buttons were broken and hard to use, and we didn't realise there was no breakfast available and the pub and restaurant was closed on the night we were there. We would undoubtedly have rated the Neidpath Inn higher if these things were resolved.

The rooms were of a high quality, Mike was super helpful and the tea/coffee and snacks in the room were excellent.

We liked everything.

We had room 3. A really nice and large room. Staff were really nice. Excellent location with a short walk into Peebles centre. We went to see a show and were pleasantly surprised how nice Peebles is.

Nothing. Parking is just outside the door on the main road - signs say you can't park there for long times, but apparently wardens don't check!

Host was lovely, allowed us to check in early. Nice spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Kettle with tray including coffee, teas and biscuits. Busy road outside but no noise due to good insulation.`

I cannot fault the place.

I’ve stayed here before and I hope to do so again. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, there is parking right outside. The rooms are also serviced daily, and there is a great supply of snacks provided. Overall the place provides exceptional value for money.

Confusing car parking situation where parking regs apparently not enforced on street.

V clean - staff assisted with luggage. Delicious coffee snacks provided. V comfortable room for daytime relaxation. Quiet environment in spite of being a pub - any related activity or noise did not intrude.

The shower water pressure was very low and disappointing.

The room was lovely and light, with a big bay window and sofa. The bed was comfy and the owner was very friendly. Lovely array of tea, water and treats in the room too
