What wasnt there not to like Margaret was the best and the kindest host ever always doing things to make your day brighter and easier can not put into words how amazing and welcoming this lady is makes it feel like home the house is beautiful and location is everything youd want i can only sing praise about the place and the lady that runs it amazing stay thank you so much I mean it from the bottom of my heart

Everything was above expectations. The rooms are spacious and have a royal feeling. Very comfortable beds. The host is like your mom or grandmother; even offered taxi service. We were not able able to take the breakfast because of family matters (hospital); but we got a delicious coffee every morning without charge. Thank you for your kindness from the bottom of our hearts.

We were welcomed on arrival and taken through everything we needed to know about the property. Not realising it was a public holiday and it would be hard to find dinner, we were surprised with a home cooked meal brought to our room. Margaret is a very accommodating hostess and a wealth of local information, you leave feeling like you have gained a friend.

Nothing not to like everything was just amazing from start to finish

Margaret the owner was absolutely amazing from the minute we arrived. Very friendly and welcoming. The place was absolutely spotless and we felt we had to take our shoes off walking up the stairs with how clean it was. Room was very clean and decor was lovely and bed was very comfortable. Was definitely a home away from home. Will definitely be visiting again. (Oh and may I add) Margaret cooked us a fry up on the Sunday morning which again was spot on food was very delicious!!

Nothing not to like!

Margaret’s personal touch was very much appreciated - local knowledge, great service - including recommending and booking a restaurant for us and dropping us there (the food was great!). Without fuss rearranged bookings in consultation with other guests to facilitate my husband’s mobility issues - and made no fuss whatever of it. We are deeply grateful for a wonderful experience. AND - no price increase even though it was Open Golf week and most other accommodation close to Troon was hugely inflated. Such integrity!

Very bright and modern, well-equipped room. Extremely comfortable. Margaret was an excellent hostess. Very welcoming and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer.
