Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomShower not very powerful. Would have liked a taste of Wales such as homemade bread or cake with my lovely Welsh butter! The door to the courtyard is a little low for a 6 footer.
The breakfast was provided as grocery items for two days so bread, granola, milk, blueberries etc. which was lovely. The cottages are so pretty, really clean and decorated to a high standard. We stayed in the loft and courtyard. They are in the most gorgeous rural location just outside of town, the views are beautiful. Lots of information provided about walks and where to eat. When you only have a few days this really helps. Sitting outside in the quiet courtyard eating breakfast was lovely! Even spotted the odd rabbit. Just wish we had more time to chill.

United KingdomNothing.
The Neuadd B&B Suite was absolutely lovely. The suite was exceptionally clean, comfortable and had stunning views. Everything was provided to enable a fully self contained stay including a lovely continental breakfast. I loved the self check in/check out and the freedom that afforded. A perfect place to get away from it all for a few days. Highly recommend.

United KingdomIt would be much better with a proper 2nd sink in the breakfast area. Not great to have to wash up in the bathroom sink.

United KingdomNothing! Everything here is as you'd hope to find it on a special weekend away!
The location is absolutely stunning!! Every window frames another view so beautifully, and we felt that we were right away from it all in our own little cocoon! Beautiful bead-linen with a fabulously supportive bed which made for 2 very restful nights' sleep. We had the most wonderful stay in the Vine Tree Suite this weekend. What a beautiful place Neuadd Suites and Cottages is! We loved it, and all the thought that was evident in all the little details in the accommodation. We did feel really pampered. Everything from the Welsh cakes and waffles, local fresh bread, jam, berries and granola was delicious! The cafetiere coffee was very smooth too. The place was absolutely immaculate and beautifully curated. Thank you Julia, for such a lovely stay and for the little touches that make all the difference.

United KingdomThe shower could have a bit more power!
The location is fabulous, near plenty of facilities and places to eat and in the middle of the most beautiful countryside. We did the walk they recommend in the booklet, which is very special and quiet, with amazing views. Breakfast is left for you and is very well thought through with local produce. The room was huge, well laid out and stylishly furnished.

United KingdomAbsolutely lovely accommodation - the Loft suite was a huge room plus the entrance and dining area and bathroom. Really comfortable bed and it is really as roomy and pleasant as it looks in the photos. Plentiful breakfast to enjoy in the room including fresh berries. We liked being a walk from Llangattock and Crickhowell - it’s a pleasant stroll down to the Horseshoe Inn and back but felt more ‘breathing room’ being set in a quieter location away from the town centre. We would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomThe amazing location, peace, quiet, tranquility, stunning views and yet only a two minute drive into Crickhowell for all of its amenities. We had two one bed suites as we were travelling with our daughter and her partner. The outside courtyard enabled us to have breakfast altogether, which we thoroughly enjoyed as we managed gorgeous weather. The breakfast was in the suites ready for us and the selection was excellent. The suites were well equipped and there was plenty of parking too. Perfect romantic getaways or retreats. We will definitely be back.

United KingdomFor us, there was nothing to fault.
The accommodation was perfect for us. Comfortable, cosy and with all the facilities we required. The breakfast provision was fresh, local and generous. The location is exceptional with panoramic views and there is easy access to an extensive network of footpaths. Julia, the host, was excellent with her responses to some queries and very welcoming on arrival. There is so much to see and do in the area that we wished we could have stayed longer but we hope to return before too long.

United KingdomThis is a perfect spot for exploring the area - several great hikes are accessible from your very doorstep and many more are only a short drive away. The cottage itself is exceptionally cosy and well-looked after. The hosts are wonderful and provide all the information you might need on the local area and on getting to the cottage (do take their scenic route suggestion, it's breathtaking!). There's plenty of food and snacks, and it's all local and of very high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for tranquility and a base for discovering Bannau Brycheiniog.
