The beautiful interior, open plan kitchen/lounge. Well equipped kitchen, easy to use appliances. Two beautifully decorated bedrooms and fabulous bathroom. Location 15 mins walk along the river to Aberaeron. Host quick to reply to queries.

Spotless, comfortable, charming, all amenities. I loved the decor - bare brick and wood accents, Welsh blankets, a mixture of traditional and hip. Very convenient and clean. Great walk into town. The is the best place I’ve stayed so far in Aberaeron; I was lucky to find a window where they had a vacancy.

Perfect location, set in the woods a few minutes' walk from the town along a very pretty riverside path. The cottage has been carefully renovated and has everything you could need.

That we couldn’t stay longer.

We loved everything about this cottage. It is so well set up and included everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and it was great having a bath in the room. The kitchen came fully equipped and it was we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge at the end of each day.

Breakfast not applicable. Location perfect - easy reach of everything locally and good base for exploring further afield. Cottage was delightful and everything of a high standard. Our second stay here and hoping it won't be our last.

The location was perfect. East to find and close to the town. The cottage was large and extremely homely. All the amenities were there, all we needed was to turn up and enjoy our stay. we would definitely stay here again

My partner fell in love with the place and didn't want to leave after 2 nights, so no doubt at some point we will need to go back again. I'm a bit tight with money, and this wasn't a cheap place to stay, so this annoyed me, hearing her non stop praise of the property and having to return to mine! :)

Fantastic property, lots of lovely little touches throughout, lovely and clean, great location short and pleasant walk along the river to get to the village, really comfortable all around, nice parking spot, good comms from the host throughout all the facilities you need, as close to perfect as you could ask for. People in the village were really friendly and helpful, some great places to eat and drink, and walk - and to pick up some bits and bobs. Short trip to the supermarket a few mins by car, Instructions on how to connect the Wifi, sort the keys out, how everything worked were on point and common sense, loved the shower, partner loved the bath. Amazing restoration of a really old building, loads of character. Nice to haev some tea/coffee provided just need to get some bread an milk as you would expect and do a small shop.

Yes everything was excellent. Maybe a pint of milk would have been appreciated after a long journey so we could have had a cup of tea.Tea and coffee was provided but no milk to start us off. Just a minor thing or maybe an oversight.

It was a very well equipped cottage and we had a very comfortable stay as a family. Very close to the town and the sea,a lovely ten minute walk along the side of the river got you to the town.

The position of some of the light switches takes some fathoming out, and in one case in particular, is potentially dangerous. The light switch for the downstairs loo is behind the door, and there is a step down which is unlit until you have negotiated the step. I think the level of lighting in the kitchen area is not bright enough for me personally. In the upstairs bathroom, the bath itself is on a raised plinth on which I twice stubbed my toe! It would be a good idea to paint the leading edge of the plinth in a bright colour. The turning off the main road, when approached from one direction is very very sharp. This resulted in me scraping the underside of my car on the raised kerb. I had to reverse into the main road and drive a little further down the road, turn round and enter the lane from the opposite direction.

The location was very good, with a lovely riverside walk down to the town, with its many restaurants, and pretty painted quayside buildings. Unfortunately there is currently building works in the harbour. This did not totally spoil our enjoyment, but we would love to come again when the works are completed. The property has been very well modernised, with high quality fixtures and fittings and tasteful decoration.

would have liked to have netflicks or prime or similar available to log into the lounge. it was only available in one of the bedrooms which was a shame as i wanted to watch a movie with the kids in the lounge - but a minor point overall.

great location - quiet and convenient. lovely house, clean, comfortable - everything you needed. obviously recently done up and the upstairs bathroom was particularly lovely, beds comfy. very happy.
