    Everything was perfect!!

I stayed here with my young son for a couple of nights, as he’s a keen fossil hunter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Esme gave us a warm welcome and went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The suite was spotless, homely, and thoughtfully set up, with plenty of breakfast supplies. The bed was very comfortable, the surroundings peaceful, and we both slept wonderfully. It was clear that Esme and Duncan had listened to past feedback, as thoughtful touches such as wardrobe drawers, a washing-up bowl, and a dustpan and brush had been added. There was also useful printed information about local routes and attractions, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent — whether travelling by car or public transport. There’s parking available, and bus stops are only a few minutes’ walk away. We found it very easy to reach Charmouth (around 10 minutes by bus) and the town centre (less than 10 minutes). A tip for fellow travellers: the First Bus app is handy for timetables and live bus tracking. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Don’t hesitate to book — you won’t be disappointed!

Fabulous accommodation in a lovely quiet area only a short walk from the town & seafront. It's quiet hilly but good for amazing views and cardio! We loved the room, very comfortable with an exceptional breakfast & modern bathroom. There is a fridge, kettle & microwave which is ample enough space to make sandwiches for a great day of hiking! Lyme Regis is beautiful and the coastal walk is a must with easy access from the main road! It's a fab location and a great base to explore this extremely amazing coastline! We met our host Duncan & Esme and they were lovely :) We will definitely stay again.

As I was on foot I found that the walk back along the river was pleasant but quite a steep hill, but if you are driving this would not apply.

No breakfast but a good supply of tea,coffee,bread/jam,crumpets, toaster, etc. Very quiet, very clean and tidy, all fittings appeared to be new.very nice area with rose bushes by window. I arrived by train but there appeared to be plenty of parking space.

Loved Lyme Regis and this accomadation is in a lovely residential area, within walking distance to the town. The accomadation is very homely and comfortable and the owners very hospitable. The town can be reached either via the main road or along the river which is very picturesque. Lyme Regis is hilly but loved its charm and independent shops along with plenty of eating and drinking places. Would definitely stay at No 4 suite again.

There was nothing to not like, I would like a firmer mattress, but that is preference not complaint, preference is what our own homes are for. Seriously can not fault no.4. A great place to stay. Thank you Duncan and esme.

    See abouve

It was a very clean tidy pleasant place with very clean modern bathroom facilities. There was a wonderful welcoming pack (tea sugar coffee cereal bread butter erred) all you could ask for. There was an only thing which would have been very useful would have been a plastic washing up bowl. It’s rather difficult to wash up crockery in a shallow bathroom basin with no draining board

Nothing (the hill was a bit of a challenge but good for the old CV workout!)

We visited for the Lyme Morris weekend and stayed on to enjoy a break. Lovely room, great 'welcome' goodies which we weren't expecting. Really comfy and a great base for our week's stay. Fab little bars, restaurants and we were welcomed with open arms wherever we went. Highly recommend Baroque, Millside and The Fox and Owl on the Seas (an honesty bar), Lots to see in the area (Beer Quarry Caves are definitely worth a visit - then a sneaky refeshing local cider in The Barrel of Beer, in Beer - obvs)
