We attended my sister's wedding at the near by tree tops escape so staying at Northcote Manor was an ideal location. It is a shame you cannot carry on using the zap after checking out at 11am as we have done this in other places and thoroughly enjoyed making the most of a stay. I think some rooms could do with updating and ensuring all facilities work correctly - nothing that bothered us much but the TV and kettle didn't work. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly. Some biscuits in rooms would be a nice for something to eat with a hot drink.

The spa doesn’t open until 8am and breakfast is not available until 8am , this clashes as breakfast finishes at 10am and you have to check out by 11 , this doesn’t really give you enough time to use the spa before you leave , also the spa was not even manned until 9am , so the sauna, wet room and jacuzzi were not ready at 8am , it was only after I used the gym and went into the spa at 8.50am and realised nothing was on and had to phone the main hotel for someone to come over and switch them on .By then it was too late as the sauna and steam room needed at least 10-15 mins to heat up and we needed to get back and ready for breakfast , as well as unfortunately when the jacuzzi was switched on it was very foamy and dirty ( please see pics ) so was not really prepared to go in there . just think it needs to be thought through better , the spa/gym should be open at 7am along with breakfast or breakfast should be available until 11am .

Only 1 thing the green alarm in the ceiling was very bright and annoying but everything else was superb. We will come again for sure

The location was beautiful and peaceful. Loved the manor and all of the staff were especially attentive ,helpful and polite. The Spa was wonderful and we had heavenly spa treatments from Natalie and Rosie who were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious too.

Unfortunately, the dinner wasn't as expected. We had stayed previously only having experienced breakfast and afternoon tea, which was delicious. However, we decided to book dinner at a pp rate of £55. Obviously, it's a very small price for a 3 course meal in a hotel. Unfortunately, the dessert was the only enjoyable part. Happily pay more for tastier meals, sorry. Everything else was lovely

Bedrooms were very warm and showers were hand held built into bath taps.

The staff were superbly nice and hard working. The swimming pool complex was fabulous.

There was nothing to complain about it was an excellent stay.

The welcome was great. The staff were like friends, they listened to our life stories and shared some of their own. They also had and used their sense of humour. The Spa facilities were excellent and the evening meals were both great food and a real fine dining experience. All in all a very happy and relaxing couple of days a worthy stay for our fiftieth wedding anniversary. Congratulations to all at Northcote Manor.

Staff were a little pompous and didn't make you feel welcome,we specifically booked to use the spa facilities and we were not informed that the spa was having a refurbishment, we also felt that the staff were not happy with us not booking an evening meal.

Needs a refurb. Attention to detail like one flower head in a vase on the fireplace. Extra Chairs stacked behind the main sofas in the lounge. No side lights in the bedroom. Main switch turned on the main bedroom light and side lights but no option to switch main one off. Shower also just hand fitting and leaked.

Lovely friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast area, needed more attention, felt very bare, add some soft furnishings, flowers on tables, replace sauce sachets with sauce in serving dishes, some tables rather tired.

We stayed here for our wedding night as the location was convenient, the breakfast was good but the staff could have been more attentive as some things on the buffet needed replenishing. Room was clean with comfortable bed.
