The breakfast was ok but not much variety in continental part. It would've been good to have some fruit or yogurt. I didn't ask the staff as I wanted a cooked meal so there well could've been alternatives but I didn't see them out anywhere.

Good sized room.1 of us liked mattress other didn't. Clean and well maintained. Size of shower room good. Friendly staff. We would stay here again.

Was quaint but also modern and very clean, very comfortable and the staff were brilliant. Great outside area with plenty of seating. Breakfast was very nice and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were attending a wedding at the Coniston and it was just a 5 min Uber ride away.

My itinerary meant I couldn’t stay longer.

Everything was seamless with friendly staff, easy check- in, good facilities, free off road parking, extra decorative touches in bedroom such as local soft wool curtains and cushion covers, patterned china cups and saucers for BYO tea/ coffee, modern ensuite bathroom. Most diners in evening were families and couples who were not Old Swan guests… a good sign. Good range of menu for food and drinks. Despite being on main road, the night was quiet. A high bar for hospitality. Highly recommended for the traveller.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the old swan. We needed to leave early and they went out of their way to accommodate us with breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and the entertainment was wonderful.

The room temperature was a bit too warm.

The room was up to contemporary standards. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was attentive. Fortunately, there were additional windowpanes installed that kept the sound of traffic muffled.

What a surprise, I really didn't know what to expect. Busy pub, lovely dining area, really nice staff. And rooms that are exceptionally. You could not want for anything. All for a very affordable price. Food in the evening was perfect, not an extensive menu, but what I had was done very well. Breakfast is done well, plenty of options. Dog friendly, and access to a lovely path which takes you to a lovely canal walk across from a good carpark.

The selection of real ale is impressive. Comfortable and well laid out.breakfast is very nice and the rooms are a good size. The staff are accommodating and knowledgeable.

The pub is great it has a good selection of real ale and larger cider which you would expect. Very accommodating to walkers and customers with dogs and families there are two snug rooms as well as a very large enclosed beer garden.
