Poor facilities in the bathroom. There is no hand rail to help with getting in and out of the bath. Difficulty in adjusting the shower to correct temperature. Cold water tap was always running warm. No hook on the back of the door. The whole property needs new carpets( they all looked very worn and grubby) and it would definitely benefit from a coat of paint.

The only down side to the whole accommodation was the bathroom, needs updating and a good clean, the smell of the drains was abit overwhelming at times.

Amazing location and brilliant food. The breakfast was really good and had one evening meal there during our stay, which the pie was amazing.

It can get incredibly busy on the Main Street of the river but you don’t have to walk too far to get away from the crowds

Central to the village everything with walking distance massive room with a good view over the river lots of shops and restaurants excellent walks starting from the pub well signed posted

Thought we'd worked out how to get cold water, but we were wrong, because it still came out warm eventually...tap a complete mystery.

Our bedrooms decor was very tired, wallpaper pealing, damp in the bathroom, broken bedside table, generally very run down.

Great location albeit very busy. Room was nice and the bathroom was large for a hotel. The room was very clean. All of the staff were excellent. Food and beer were good. It was a nice place to stay.

Room 5 bathroom shower head didn't fit the holder and holder didn't stay in position. It couldn't be adjusted. Shower cubicle trim was broken, grouting discoloured and the chrome was badly corroded.

It was in a great location for us and our room was really comfortable and tidy we were lucky with parking and the staff were so friendly and helpful they really made it lovely for us they couldn’t do enough for us and went out their way to make us feel so welcome Breakfast was lovely with a great variety of food to chose from

For £180 a night I expected more than a single bottle of some unidentified liquid for use in the shower. A shower head higher than 5’6” when my husband is 6’ and less mould in the grout around the tiles

Good choice - the full English was ok but varied in quality on each day - except for the mushrooms which were dry every day

The stairs are really small to walk up and had very low ceilings in the room, obviously wasn’t there fault as an old building. It was a hot day and I think they should have provided fans in the rooms to make there guests more comfortable.

Very in keeping with the town was the pub & room, was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. If was a hot day and we did bring a fan with us which I was grateful of.
