Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomEverything! The family are friendly and made us feel very welcome. For us and our dogs, the chalet became home away from home. We couldn't have wished for a better location. The farm, and local area provide breathtaking views. There are a couple of beautiful beaches a short drive away. We recommend Whistling Sands Beach and Porth Lago (perfect for sunset views).

United KingdomThe shower could do with updating and the drainage under the unit needs to be sorted.
Loved the location and the owners, good beaches and restaurants and pubs. The owners gave us access to large fields to run our 3 dogs witch was really appreciated. We are considering booking again for next year if the below comments are fixed.

United KingdomThe mattress is a bit bumpy for my wife and I who are larger people but skinnier people would be fine.
The location is great and short driving distance to great pubs, beaches, and fishing spots. The chalet is located on an operating farm with animals which is fabulous. The Chalet has everything you need to have a great stay but bring your own towels.

United KingdomIt wasn’t clean and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived. There was quite a lot of mould around the windows, there was rubbish in the bedside drawer and crisp pieces next to the bed in one of the rooms. The kitchen floor was dirty. Some of the dishes in the kitchen had been put away dirty. The headboard in the main room is stained and the bedding was clean but some had stains on them. There was a side table covered in tiny dead spiders. The area where the table is was very mouldy. It smelled musty and kind of like wet dog.
The lady was lovely and gave us a barn tour so we could see the lambs and calves. There’s a fantastic view from the bedrooms of fields of sheep. The beds were pretty comfortable.

United KingdomNot much. It is excellent value for money in a lovely area. Some will probably find the accommodation a little rough around the edges, not as polished as higher priced options, but it has everything you need.

United KingdomNothing All good
fully equipped with everything you could possibly want to make your stay enjoyable. even selection of games to play with. Lovely views. .. very peaceful. Three bedrooms (a dbl and two twin bedded rooms ) to easily accommodate a family. The shower was great with lots of hot water. Table and chairs to sit outside on the decking and admire the view. There was a dishwater, washing machine and tumble dryer and a fridge plus a freezer plus every utensil you would ever need to cook up a banquet /feast for yourselves/family..Conveniently situated for the Welsh Coastal path.. and local towns. Iola (the host) was very friendly and helpful and even offered to take us to wherever we wanted on the coastal path to help us which was above and beyond what we expected. Iola was a fantastic host and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone searching for somewhere to stay on the Llyn Peninsula. The Chalet on the farm was a brilliant find and perfect to go back to at the end of a days walking and sightseeing.

United KingdomChalet was filthy dirty, we left early after one night after attempting to clean it ourselves. It was obvious that this would have been unachievable given how dirty it was. It was clear that the surfaces had not been wiped in a long time, dirt was engrained on all the shelves and work surfaces. cobwebs throughout. Bathroom and bedrooms are tired and dated. The living area smelt of damp and stale dog urine. Needs a complete deep clean and updating. Disgraceful that it could be let out in that condition. Terrible shame because it was set in a beautiful location.
Chalet is set in a lovely location with great views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Short distance from Aberdaron.
