Security of front door, all glass back door,(could easily walk into it) small lounge, Hob dials hard to use/ don’t stay on, downstairs bedroom door rattles with wind blowing, glass door from dining room difficult to lock,

Several rooms, semi detached, spacious kitchen, washer/ dryer provided, off Road parking, plenty park space, central heating

The property is generally very good, but let down by the living room / lounge.

The Living room / lounge is quite basic and probably too small to accommodate up to 8 guests at one time. Furniture consisted of two old looking sofas, both of which were uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time, and one in particular was quite heavily stained. Not in keeping with the high standard of all of the other furnishings, and definitely due an upgrade. As mentioned in a previous review, the garden is not enclosed so pets could not be "let out" without a lead, but this was not a great inconvenience. Key collection was a bit confusing as there was more than one locking key pad at the side of the house, so a bit like lucky dip to find the right one.

The house is furnished to a high standard and well equipped. Location is good for access to other places of interest and close to the beach. Bedrooms and en-suites all very good. Large kitchen area. Very clean throughout.

Lovely cottage, quite an incline/decline to get to the beach. Very little to do in the area if the weather not good.

No garden for children to play but it looked as though it did on tghe photos No microwave Downstairs toilet infested with ants & flying ants so we couldn’t use that room One upstairs bedroom had a note saying shower prone to flooding & it as a consequence didn’t smell too good so we couldn’t use that room also but the rest of the property was lovely

    All rooms en-suite

Parking was just a little tricky but very manageable. Additional free parking a short distance away was also available.

This is a perfect size property for a group of 8 especially as all the bedrooms were en-suite. It was bright and spacious and the host very responsive to our queries.

Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like

The beds are really comfy, the en-suites are great and were spotless! The kitchen has a great lay out for everyone to be able to interact whilst cooking and has plenty of utensils, crockery etc. The house is lovely and warm so was cosy when we got back from wet and windy walks! It really is only a short walk to the local bars, shops, cafes and chip shop!

One shower didn't work. Plumber was booked but for after our stay.

Great location. Facilities and decor to a high standard. Nice to receive a phone call from the owner to check everything was ok for us.

We had problems trying g to use the oven, hob and microwave oven. Microwave and the oven were below work surface level and to operate it I needed to get down on my hands and knees to read the touch panel, especially when the sun shone on the panel. A very difficult system for me to operate even though I did refer to the operating manual. This problem was the only downside to an otherwise lovely stay at 1 Dolfor.

The location of the cottage was superb with wonderful views and just a short walk down a steep hill to Aberdaron village and beach. The property was well maintained, very clean, lovely kitchen diner and spacious clean en suite bedrooms. Outdoor furniture also a bonus. Kitchen was well equipped with pots pans, cutlery and crockery. The only item we could not find was a colander.
