Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A little fridge would have been useful. The blinds let a lot of light in early in the morning.
Good location - lots of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to property which was communicated well in advance. Room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed.

The blinds should be changed in room 5, as the sun reflection gets into the room, which can be uncomfortable especially in the morning.

The room could do with a few extras - lamps next to the bed, shelf in the bathroom. towel rail. Stayed in Room 5, the shower is difficult to access as it is very close to the sink and quite a step up - the shower door should open on the other side. But overall very nice
Location is convenient. Good Value. Spacious rooms. Quite clean. Appreciated the rotary fan as the room was very warm.

Can’t find a fault.
For the price, we really couldn’t grumble about anything at all. Clean, en suite, parking, ideal location. As it was such a hot day, the fact that the windows had been opened and a fan had been left on for us was a really really nice touch. Things like that make a big difference, and I’ve never had that before, even in some top hotels. Would definitely stay again, thank you!!

I was in the annex at the back and very conscious that the car park and people were right outside the door. And it could do with a towel rail in the bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice little space with everything I needed,

Easy to locate and good off road parking. Everything was as described. Personally we found the bed rather hard and it's definitely a normal size double. The room was very hot! Super clean..

Some floor boards were cracked and creaking a bit.
Very spacious room with a little kitchenette. Good location within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars. Free parking was a bonus. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall great value for money. Will definitely stay here again.

Lacking extras - could do with a comfortable chair or sofa. Surfaces clean but could use a good scrub. Flooring very uneven- bathroom door sticks and some flooring starting to crack and stick up: future tripping hazard. But Overall nice.

The water pressure in the shower in room 8 was awful, as was the shower itself. The shower has quite a big step to get into it and it felt claustrophobic as it was so small. The shower head was an absolute nightmare too. Something has obviously got into the hot water tank & died in it as the hot water ran brown. We ended up shaving and washing with cold water. Fortunately the shower is powered and runs off the cold water system. The TV in one of the rooms was poorly placed, meaning you had to turn sideways to watch it, but it didn't cause us any issues. There were no obvious staff on site, which wasn't an issue as the managers phone number was posted around the building. Bed wasn't the most comfortable bed, very hard but adequate. Towels provided were very small.
Warm and comfortable room. Tea & coffee making facilities, lots of coffee provided but a lack of sugar & milk supplies.. Big screen TV. Shared kitchen with all the essentials needed for your stay. Some people have commented about the check in process. I believe this has been addressed as I received entry instructions in plenty of time, and the instructions were very easy to follow.
