There was nothing we didn't like.

We had such a lovely weekend at Paul's Farmhouse. The cottage had everything you could need and more. The bed was so comfy. Everything on offer was of a high standard - the cotton sheets were very crisp and fresh. We loved how the barn had been converted into accomodation. Plenty of hot water. We loved sitting on the wooden sun loungers looking down the garden after our long walks. Enjoyed looking at the extensive travel guides in the lounge. Plenty of parking space. We really didn't want to come home. We did several walks from the front door. Such a relaxing and comfortable weekend. Would fully recommend.

Very quirky, lovely setting and very convenient location. Hosts unobtrusive but checked in daily and very friendly. Well equipped. Despite being there in a heatwave we found cool shady spots in the garden.

Rooms were quite dark. This is a result of the very small windows which are part of the characterful barn conversion and meant that you had to have the lights on during the day. Lighting in the rooms was fine though.

The only thing is there isn’t much to do in hawkhurst but if I had Brought a bunch of board games it would have been perfect. The WiFi is really fast though so you can definitely find things to do that way.

The property is really sweet and has all the facilities you would need. It was a really charming place and if u want a few days away it’s super quiet and out of the way.

What a treasure! Idyllic, quiet, remote location - just what we were hunting for our week long stay. The barn apartment was perfect for the two of us. Extremely well provisioned with lots of little unexpected touches, such as the well stocked coffee maker. The bedroom was huge and the bed an absolute dream to sleep in. Well appointed bathroom with a fantastic shower. The hosts were perfect - anonymous unless you needed them to be, and full of useful info. It's remoteness may faze some but for us it was ideal - and perfect for a launch point for our exploring. Lots of food options within a short drive, although the kitchen was perfect for self catering. I couldn't praise this property higher.

There was absolutely nothing we did not love about Paul’s Farmhouse.

A stunningly beautiful landscape sheltering a delightfully converted old barn close to an old Kentish farmhouse - we couldn’t have loved it more.It is very comfortable and well equipped and we’re already looking forward to a return trip.

The hosts were both very welcoming and such lovely people. The barn itself was outstanding. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our little break. I really appreciate the extra effort in providing some biscuits and a bottle of prosecco. Giving very tranquil and relaxed vibes. This barn has most definitely made our entire stay, and we plan on visiting again! The bedroom was so cute and dainty but still ensuring it's meeting all the needs of the customers. All the facilities there were brilliant and the host provided everything needed for the stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here and have just a glimpse of the experience we did. Sitting room was very small ( more like an alcove than a room ). We were staying for 6 nights so more clothes hangers would have been better (there were only 4). I mistakenly thought there was going to be a washing machine (website mentioned a drying rack) but that was my mistake.

Bedroom and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. Entire property was extremely clean. Very pleasant location.
