Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAlthough the list of facilities is long some of them were not useable ie the microwave. Didn’t have a glass plate and something had been burnt in the bottom. Toiletries should really have been for individual use not left over from previous guests.

United KingdomThe loo was a bit wonky but they were sorting it out and there was another bathroom we could use
So much fun! Took 3 kids here to the family room and for 2 hour pony trek. We had the best time! Room has fridge, microwave etc and comfy beds. The staff were so lovely, really kind and friendly. Lovely to hear the horses and see the yard in action too. Beds were comfy, it was clean and we had everything we needed.

PolandThe bathroom was quite cramped, but that was because of the limited width of the attic in the building. Because it is on a working stable, it was rather aromatic, if you're not a fan of the lingering odour of horses and their associated smells, it might not be a good choice for you.
Wonderful staff, very friendly. The room was very spacious, although it does have a partially sloped ceiling, which could be problematic for some. The bed was fairly comfortable, everything was quite clean. We also booked one of their riding experiences, which was really perfect.

United KingdomParking is a bit hit and miss.
Location was lovely, room was very clean and although the bathroom wasn't in the room you had your own key to the bathroom along the hall. Perfect location for scenic walks. Views from property are gorgeous. Riding stables so you can expect some noise, was fantastic watching the horses and the work going on in the fields.

United KingdomWe could not identify any improvements, except maybe a larger sink in the shower room.
The location is beautiful. Plenty of natural attractions nearby. Good pubs for meals within 15 minutes drive. Karen and Kirsty welcoming and helpful. Horse riding a bonus.

United KingdomThe dogs are noisy, but it's a working farm and riding stables.
The room was fine a family so plenty of space for a couple. As we were eating out the fridge and microwave were a bonus. Beautiful location. We were only board, no breakfast.

United KingdomThe only thing that wasn't so good was the TV stopped working on the second evening. This wasn't too much of a problem as I accessed streaming services over the wi-fi on an ipad.
The room had everything that I needed - somewhere to sleep, a food preparation area and a private bathroom. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.

United KingdomNo lock on the shared bathroom so Felt unsafe/uncomfortable. Constant Yapping dog in guest room next to us. Felt the property is not insulated, sound proof enough to accommodate noisy dogs from other guests. Understand this is not property’s fault but was on eggshells to move about as would set the dog off so my son felt quite scared.
Room was equipped with everything we needed. Perfect for what we needed for a short stay. Was grateful for the parking and easy check in

United KingdomWe couldn’t access our room when we arrived as the room had mistakenly been given to another guest but that was soon rectified. The room shape meant it had various low walls and very little space to walk get past a bed. That was manageable but the worst part was no hot water in the shower or toilet roll provided. If these last issues could be rectified then I’d still recommend to visit as value for money.
The location was great, near to the castle and perfect for hiking trips. Beds were a great size for myself and my son. The host was very friendly too.

United KingdomThe room I booked wasn’t available, so did not have an en suite bathroom. The room is serviceable but basic, the bed not the most comfortable. There is noise until late and early in the morning from the stables below, and dogs were howling and barking until after 10pm. I was fine with earplugs, but don’t recommend for light sleepers especially in the summer where you’ll want the windows open.
It’s in a scenic setting in the middle of the Brecon Beacons, and considering how few accommodation options are nearby, it’s serviceable. There was WiFi which was helpful, and a good TV. The fan was powerful and welcome on a warm night.

Karen was such a lovely person! The room was clean and the basic amenities were provided in great condition! We did have an issue with the boiler where Karen kindly offered us a great stay in another cottage! Very quick help with queries and prompt responses! We look forward to doing a trip again! And it's a great place to stay!

There was a mishap about room, it wasnt cleaned before we moved in but issue was resolved as quick as possible from their side. We had been gifted a bottle of wine as of apology, which was a pleasant surprise, they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Mishaps can happen and its understandable.

The room was comfy and cosy with access to satellite and a useful little fridge. I can imagine being holed up there when the weather changes and being quite happy.
