We were able to connect to the Wi-fi router with no problems but the speed was so slow that we were not able to do anything with it, but we were both so tired after the event that it didn't matter.

Location was perfect as we needed to stay over after a local event in the day, and it was quiet (well back from the road). Nicely appointed apartment with company but beautiful bathroom (nice shower) and a comfortable bed. The reclining armchairs wee so good I fell asleep in mine. And John and Jackie were very helpful.

Coffee was instant. There was a cafetiere, so bring your own ground coffee if you are fussy!

Quiet and charming. Friendly owners. Easy cab ride to Rye. Great that there was tea coffee and milk in the fridge. Good kitchen equipment etc.

I was invited to a wedding very close by, so for me the location was wonderful, but I was also very impressed by the quality of the appliances and the cleanness. The housekeeper was also very accommodating, especially as I checked in very late.

The Wifi was a little temperamental, but not really an issue for us as we weren't relying on it much. It was much nicer to spend the evening looking up at the stars and listening to sounds of nature.

The accommodation was immaculately clean and very comfortable. A huge bonus was the beautifully landscaped, tranquil pond next to our cabin, where we could enjoy watching the koi carp and goldfish swimming and the peaceful evenings. All the mod cons in the kitchen, a comfy bed and modern bathroom. There is also a nice guestbook that is filled with suggestions for things to do in the area and beyond. They have pretty much though of everything and available for any questions you may have.

Great location for Rye without being in the town - 5min drive away. Studio room is large. Bathroom like new and exceptionally clean. Lovely garden.

Attentive friendly welcome with complimentary tea coffee sugar milk and biscuits . Well equipped kitchen, bathroom,comfy sofa with fabulous view over the lovely pond. Really well placed for visiting a wide range of places . Would recommend

Fantastic, peaceful location, just a few miles from Rye. Everything we could have needed was available in the room, kitchen area, sitting and eating areas, lovely farm house style split door which we could leave open when we were in the room and feel connected with nature.

Not a lot really parking a bit tight but did not detract from the stay.

Very friendly host. Lovely outlook over a carp pond. Enjoyed just sitting by the pond watching the fish with a drink in hand.

Parking was a little difficult, but owner moved his car to give us more room. Bed was a bit too soft for our comfort.

Hooray finally a place to stay that has decent lighting so you can actually see your stuff. Very clean and functional with loads of room in pond view- very nice! Welcoming place and relaxing where everything is carefully provided for you. You get looked after even biscuits and milk on arrival just so you are looked after.

John and Jackie are great hosts! The location is perfect for those visiting Tillingham Vineyard, as well as Rye. The relaxed atmosphere was wonderful for a weekend away!
