    Everything was great 😃

The Pontcysyllte chapel tearoom is in a perfect location to visit the pontyclythe aqueduct being as it's only a short walk down the road. Also two great pubs are within easy walking distance. The breakfast was very tasty and we had plenty of food provided to keep us going till dinner time 😋. The room was very peaceful and modern with a comfortable bed. Llangollen is a short drive up the road where there is plenty to see and do including horse drawn boat trips, canal boats or a steam train ride and more

Fixed shower point would have been useful. If staying as hand held, needs a longer shower screen.

Location very convenient for wedding we were attending. Also good for walks near canal. Breakfast very good. All staff friendly and helpful.

Loved the uniqueness of the property. Bedroom was spotlessly clean with good quality furniture. Staff & owner were lovely. Breakfast was delicious, top quality ingredients & good sized portions. Great atmosphere in the tea room as it accommodates walk ins so there's just a lovely vibe to the place. Special mention to Hannah for showing us around & to our room! 10 mins on the bus to the centre of Llangollen. All the people in & around Llangollen were lovely which was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be back!

No stand up shower so only a bottle of liquid soap to use. There was a bottle of bath creme had we wanted a bath.

Excellent location for aqueduct, lots of parking. Very clean, simple, tasteful & quiet rooms. Shampoo, tea, coffee & nice biscuits in room.

    Nothing

We were attending a wedding at Tower Hill Barns & the tearooms are literally a 9 minute walk away. We dropped our cases off (they kindly allowed us to check in early), and then drove to the venue and left our car there overnight to collect in the am. I suggest doing it that way otherwise you're walking up a steep hill in heels and dressed up to the nines!. There is nothing bad to say about this place. Seriously, I'm super fussy & it's perfect. We had a twin room on the ground floor, which I would request again. It was cool, which was perfect with the heat we are having right now. Double shower, fluffy bath matt, lovely towels & loads of toilet roll. Tea, coffee, biscuits, great tv, plenty of space for your bags. Staff were all wonderful and very helpful with everything. Key for your room, code to get in & out of the property after hours. You also get a mobile number to ring/ text out of hours. A novelty item is a booklet with the local takeaways details in it, alongside details of the location . So, location, location, location!!! As I said, it's so close to Tower Hill Barns, but 5 miles the other way is the viaduct! Just google and see how stunning this place is. I'm seriously just considering booking for a couple of nights for a chill. Oh, breakfast - stunning. We had a full welsh breakfast but just couldn't finish it. It was so large and divine & they cater for all dietary requirements too. Book here. You won't be disappointed.
