The room was comfortable. Food was great and the staff were welcoming and very helpful.

The room could do with some updating and a bit of maintenance.

Excellent local real ale on draught in the bar. Comfortable bed.

Extraordinary en suite facility! The door from the bedroom was hinged at the top, not at the side! So one had to push it in until the door bottom hit the bath, and then squeeze one’s body in and out of space now provided, keeping low so that there was room for one’s head! Dinner menu rather unexciting.

    Property response:

Thank You for your review, at least we now know how the sliding door into the bathroom got damaged. It is a pity you didn't let us know that you could not open it when you were here because we would have shown you how to open it.

Stunning location, staff friendly, room clean, comfortable bed, food options basic but okay, property dated but in a good way.

Was aware check in was from 4pm but couldn't even enter the building or bar area to hang out until then never mind accessing the room, had ridden motorcycle for many hours at times in lashing rain, asked if could grab a seat inside but bluntly told 4pm is the go..ouch! No small fridge for items or basic bottled water on hand, cheap old kettle you struggle to fill under tap in bathroom sink.....

    Friendly staff, helpful and kind.

The room facilities were minimal, and breakfast was hot but sparce. The eggs were sloppy. There was a minimal amount. No gluten-free bread, the fruit salad was off.vtge coffee machine but of order. The hotel looked run down, paint pealing of the wall. Not a nice experience.

Nice building - has obviously had work done on it recently. We had a lovely big room with gorgeous views.

    Temperamental toilet flush 😂

A nice setting on side of loch ewe. Property was pretty dated. Although staff were lovely. Non existent WiFi although not the end of the world.

Food not great soggy batter on fish and chips. And breakfast every item was burnt. We were told cool/chef off ill and they had an 18 year old cooking. As this was one of the dearest places we had stayed it was very disappointing.

It was a quiet location. You could eat at the restaurant for dinner if you were a guest (we did enjoy our meal). Friendly staff, good breakfast. It is a little dated. This did not worry us, great for a one night stay.

We didn't find anything negative. Staff were very friendly

Staff were friendly, especially James who was lovely. Dinner was good, decent pub type food. Breakfast was good.

We had the family suite - 2 bedrooms, lounge and bathroom. It was really, really disappointing. The furniture was very dated, cheap, mismatched and tatty. The sofa was awful and dirty and the feet were actually broken so it sat wonky. Every surface was dirty and I had to wipe everything - bathroom shelf, tables, bedside tables. They were all grubby. The shower had numerous hairs in it and was also unclean. Our bedroom window had a sign on it telling us not to open the window! Clearly it was broken but rather than fix it, they tell you not to open it. So we were hot all night. Our view was of various portacabins/shipping containers and junk!! And there were people (staff i think) in these portacabins talking full volume until past midnight. Finally, when I paid the dinner bill at checkout I discovered they had added a 'compulsory' service charge of almost £6!
