"Quiet time" is not underlined as much as in other hostels. Heard loud voices of people arriving late at 10.30pm and leaving early at 5am. The hostel is spread over three buildings and you have to use key cards to get in and out. A less friendly family feeling than other hostels.

Good hostel with good location and views. Reasonable large carpark (£5 for 24hrs).

There were no vegs or even eggs for breakfast, only cereals, bread, yogurt. No shampoo in the bathroom (but we had our own).

The hostel is in Portree, near all the shops and restaurants. The beds are clean and comfortable. They have a sitting place and a kitchen. The breakfast is reasonably priced.

No free parking No lift to reach room, had to climb many stairs with luggages to reach it. Window mechanism hard to operate

The room has a sea view with a good sized toilet. Location is good and near co-op superstore and town center. The room has good ventilation as there are windows on both ends of the room Available laundry service and full shared kitchen facility.

Only thing that would have made it a bit better would have been a bit more space in the bunk room.

Location was great and very close to town square, but the common room had a nice view of the shore. Room for 4 women had two sets of bunk beds. They were fine but room was fairly small ... not much space to put your suitcase, etc. Common areas were great ... kitchen, bathrooms, dining area, sitting area. Just what you would hope for in a hostel situation.

The location war really good. The city centre in near the hostel. Right across the street there is a really big public parking. Rooms are nice, we stayed in a room with two bunk beds and a bathroom. Kitchen has all the facilities.

The bedroom was sold like a hotel room with nice lighting and a kettle in room but the bathroom decor was poor , the bathroom basin was no more than a hand basin . The mattress on the double bed was extremely soft and the bed itself was of no use to anyone over 6’4” as the was a head board either end . I am 6’7” so I struggled

Excellent location , nice room but it was on the side of road so had to keep window shut to reduce traffic noise and blind closed for privacy . Excellent self catering kitchen , great lounge and laundry drying facilities .

The hostel is in a great location with a nice view in front. The room is clean and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk are very friendly. The only downside is that the toilet flush was difficult to use — I had to lift the lid in order to get it to flush properly.

Good location and staff, parking in front (5£ for the day) You can clean and dry your clothes (4 pm to 8pm) However, it's inconvenient that the 3 buildings are separate, you need to go out to go to the main building (kitchen) to the bedrooms The mattress was tiny for two and not comfortable. There is no space to put your clothes in the bedroom

Kitchen was clean but smelt like cooking oil. You have to pay to park anywhere near hostel ( that's Skye though pay to park everywhere). Heating wasn't on in lounge... my mattress was awful..old I think springs had gone .RM 3 bed 4 woke up with back ache

TV did not work. I was there for work so a TV for the evenings would have been nice. Room was also noisy, not from guests, but the wind whistling through the building.

Room was spacious and clean. Bedding, towels and kettle provided. Access to the shared cooking facilities and fridge is a great bonus.

Stayed here with a buddy of mine during our Highlands trip. Everything was great and we met some very cool people during our stay. Would stay here again if I return in Summer!
