The only thing I can think of is they could do with some bigger mugs for our morning cuppa.

A really lovely little place. The decor has been really thoughtfully done and every little touch is lovely. Ruth, the owner is helpful and friendly and gives a warm welcome. The local pub Y Castell does great food and the pizzas at Dough Diddley's are fab. The view from the hot tub is exceptional. We will definitely be back.

The views are incredible and the accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The shower was great, the log burner got the place warm and cosy quickly. We enjoyed the hot tub and how private it was

We had an amazing weekend stay the charming Golchdy. The space is cozy, beautifully maintained, and ideal for anyone looking to relax and recharge. The views are absolutely stunning, and the outdoor space is ideal for appreciating it! We were kept cosy and dry under the outdoor heater, despite the chilly Welsh night and the rain. Privacy was a big plus for us and this place really delivered. It felt like our own little slice of paradise, tucked away from the world. Ruth and Eirian were exceptional hosts. They were so kind, friendly and helpful! They even baked us a delicious cake and gave us lifts! It's only a short walk to the lovely pub. The location is ideal, and we highly recommend this spot for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful escape with all the right touches.

The warm welcome from the owner, Ruth, was lovely. The location is quiet, peaceful and calm. The cabin is quirky, clean and cosy. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything you need is in the cabin. The hot tub and view is incredible and memorable.

Fantastic location near to Black Mountain and stunning views over the local area. Great little homely cabin that’s been well thought out and an absolute pleasure to stay in. Large patio area with a hot tub to relax in and take in the countryside views. Very welcoming hosts ensure you’re in for a great stay and provide plenty of local information too. Highly recommended!

Everything was great! We were waited with cake and prosecco, perfect as we celebrated my husband's birthday! We enjoyed the area, the weather, the sunset! We spent a few days out of London and disconnected from the routine!

Absolutely nothing to not love here!

We loved the peace and quiet and waking up to coffee with stunning views. The cabin was easy to fall in love with and perfect to spend evenings in by the fire after days of long hikes to nearby historical landmarks. All the extra touches made it that more special. Fresh eggs, homemade cake, jams, teas plus lots more! Bonus points for the amazing hot tub also. Thank you Ruth and your adorable pets for making our break fantastic.

Lovely cosy cabin, perfect for a relaxing stay. So peaceful and beautiful views of the countryside. Hosts were very welcoming. Hot tub was great.

Stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. Lovely place definitely cosy and the hosts were fab went above and beyond as I was struggling to book a taxi to the venue they offered to drop us there, the small touches make such a big difference. Would certainly stay there again if have any other trips that require a stay in that area. Thanks once again and hopefully see you again one day.

Everything! It was just a perfect get away and it was surrounded by stunning scenery! The host was amazing and very formative! She left us a few treats including a couple of slices of Victoria sponge which were delicious. Would definitely stay again ❤️

We can't wait to return. Just gazing across the fields, watching the horses play, spotting birds of prey overhead, and unwinding in the hot tub into the evening. Absolutely gorgeous! We loved our stay so much! The hot tub was so lovely and we felt completely secluded! Such a beautiful area to stay in and hosts were very informative, and just all round lovely! Everything we needed was offered, even though everything we needed was in the cabin! Ruth has gone above and beyond to make such people have the most lovely relaxing private getaway! We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely everything. Ruth’s eye detail and the care that they have put into the cabin is wonderful. Even though we didn’t have great weather, facilities were set up so that it wasn’t a problem.

The only thing we can possibly think of which we made a comment to ourselves about was the exiting from the drive. You do have to have your wits about you as the visibility is very poor unfortunately. But with lots of work being done around the host's land, perhaps there is a plan already in place to try and improve this.

The peaceful surroundings, the very well equipped cottage, the wonderful attached bathroom (specifically the shower), the host's very excitable spaniel, and the visiting neighbourhood cats. Not forgetting the dark skies, the red kites, hot tub and last but certainly not least, our friendly hosts!

We were very warmly welcomed upon arrival. Shown in detail everything there was with the cabin and the surrounding area. We have never felt so relaxed. It has been the most lovely couple of days and I can’t wait to return to experience it all over again.

Wow what can I say, this property was the most gorgeous cabin we have ever stayed in, the views, the hosts , the cake on arrival, the gorgeous walks the dough diddleys Pizza Hut not far. It was perfect and can’t wait to come back again soon!
