The staff were great, location was fine for what we needed. Room was clean

The hotel is quite dated in the rooms, definitely in need of a refurbishment in the near future but absolutely fine for one night

The staff were lovely and the bed was great thats it....

hotel needs investment tehplace downstairs smelled like smoke, the room was dated lacking charging points and plug sockets... the bathroom was fresh from the 80s, no air con in the room, and the window only opened a small amount and then there were loads of people making noise outside... overall a dated hotel that needs the brand to invest in its properties.... the staff and the bed were the only good things - the brekkie was basic at best!!

Rooms are tired

Room was clean and had a good selection of coffee and tea. Beds were comfortable and the choice for breakfast was good. Staff were nice and pleasant.

Room needed a new lick of paint.

The location for us was great just far enough off the motorway for it to be easy to get to, but not noisy. The room was spacious, and dog friendly. The breakfast was excellent, well cooked and plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel itself was a little past its prime. Some of the carpets in the rooms and communal areas were a bit threadbare and stained, and overall it could have done with a lick of paint here and there. This was a shame because we did like the hotel.

It was cheap and cheerful for a couple of days stay, bit basic but for what we paid couldn't grumble

The staff were very friendly. The food was good breakfast and in the bar. The gym was small be had everything you need. The room was comfortable and clean. My mother really like the hotel and wants to stay again the next time we visit.

In places the decor was a jaded but was not a problem for me or my mother.

The taps in the bathroom did not work . The breakfast was cold and not enough for all guests . The shower was difficult to use and was very outdated

Shame there was no a/c, and no extractor fans in the bathrooms.

Breakfast was badly advertised and the range wasn’t what I expected for the price.

Irene was a friendly member of staff & made us Smile.& feel welcomed Breakfast was nice too

Room had a door that could go into the room next to us 2 single beds (wanted a double)
