Amazing stay here. Nice homely B&B with Barbara as host, you want for nothing. Everything you could possibly need is in the room, and even things you don’t expect from a B&B. Easy to find, simple pre arrangement for arrival time. It is nicely in the middle of nowhere, but not far away from anything you need. Room was plenty warm enough, shower was great, and bed was comfy for a really good night sleep. Breakfast is freshly cooked on the most amazing AGA, and you cannot possibly leave hungry, the quality and quality of the food was exceptional. Would happily return without hesitation.

Breakfast was excellent. Room, host Barbara, and en-suite were excellent. Hard to find the Remus. After you enter the gate there is no sign or doorbell on the entrance to indicate you are in the correct place. A sign and a bell would make it perfect.

We were looking for a few days to wind down after a busy 3+ weeks of travel in Scotland and Barbara and her Remus B and B ticked all of the boxes. A very clean, well-appointed room was comfortable with access to shared rooms, her breakfast choices were well-prepared and tasty, and the location offered us the opportunity to have easy access to a number of points of interest with little travel time.

An incredible experience. The surroundings are beautiful, the room is like something out of a fairy tale, and the owner is probably the kindest person in the world. You feel right at home. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The shower-tray was frighteningly slippy, but when we reported it a mat was given us that proved ideal to stand on whilst showering.

Breakfast was superb, very easy to over-eat! Bed was very comfortable. Very personal service because we could just ask the B&B owner for anything at any time, it was a home from home. We even had a fridge in our room which was handy. Guests asked for advice on shopping & travel in the locality too.

There was nothing not to like

Everything at this property is fantastic, owner was welcoming and lovely. The quality of food at breakfast was fantastic, there was so much we had to ask for smaller serving. An added bonus was the range of tea/coffees PLUS quality choc biscuits, large bag of hand cooked crisps and a bottle of prosecco in the small fridge.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and spacious. As well as the ensuite bedroom we had use of the lounge, dining area and could use the kitchen facilities. The host Barbara was fantastic! She looked after us very well and made our stay comfortable. We loved the home cooked Scottish breakfast and enjoyed the rural location with access to beautiful woods and countryside walks. The nearby train station in Cardenden is a direct route to Edinburgh and other places of interest like Dunfermline. The location is near the main roads and motorways too. We highly recommend this B&B for a quiet rural retreat while exploring Fife.

Barbara was the perfect host welcoming us into her home. Very comfortable bed in a good size room with access to a shared lounge and kitchen. The farm was a short drive from the village. Excellent breakfast sets you up for the day.

Breakfast at Remus B&B was excellent: large, delicious cooked breakfast as well as fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts along with orange juice and tea & coffee. A great start to each morning. Very comfortable bed & lots of clean towels. The location of the B&B near Loch Leven is a great base for exploring Fife & Perthshire.

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful B&B. Spotless accommodation, amazing breakfast each morning, even the fridge in the bedroom was well stocked. The bedroom was immaculate and huge. Barbara is such a lovely hostess. We walked around the property and visited the beautiful horses and ponies. This B&B was so comfortable and inviting. We highly recommend this beautiful place and can't wait to visit again.

Bed was quite soft and slopes towards head area where everyone has sat watching TV, lead on kettle was short which made it awkward to plug into extension lead, sink in bathroom small and no light to do make up. Although plenty of choice for breakfast limited as a vegetarian (perhaps offer vegetarian sausages).

Great size room with a garden view in a quiet location, had a fridge and some thoughtful extras (fizz & biccies, bathrobes and slippers) , fab choice of tea/coffee, has a large bathroom with plenty of fluffy towels, nice dining area looking out over the yard with plenty of choice for breakfast.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Remus B&B. While my husband worked, I enjoyed relaxing at the beautiful property. The bed was incredibly comfy (great bedding too), our room was perfect looking out on the garden with a cute pregnant pony, huge fluffy towels. great shower, plenty of hanging and drawer space, in-room mini-fridge with snacks and drinks, in-room kettle and teas, perfect wifi and a great tv. The shared space (lounge, breakfast room, etc.) was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The daily full breakfast was so delicious. The hostess, Barbara, was the icing on this perfect cake: friendly, helpful, always with a smile. We hope to return some day!

We stayed two days and we really felt at home. Barbara is a warm person,always with a smile in her face and generous in whatever she offers. As for the breakfast it is super. We absolutely recommend this place.

There was nothing I didn't like, everything was perfect

From the moment I walked in I was blown away at how beautiful this B&B was. It is tastefully decorated and it was immaculate. The room we were in was so comfortable and inviting. The fridge was stocked with wine, water,milk, chocolate biscuits and a large packet of crisps. There was also shampoo and conditioner as well as body wash (the shower was amazing) and the fluffy white towels were a treat 😉 My husband is a bad sleeper but the bed was so comfortable he slept right through. Barbara was so welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely tasty. It is all freshly cooked by Barbara and she asks you what time you would like breakfast (unlike other places where it is a set time. I could honestly go on about this B&B i would recommend this B&B 100%
