As others have said the place is dirty. I don't mean hasn't been dusted for a few days, it hasn't had a proper clean in months if not years. The instructions were to 'leave outdoor shoes on the shoerack in the hall' fair enough but there were no other guests when I arrived and the rack was piled high with shoes as well as other pairs being scattered around the hall (along with 2 vacuum cleaners!) The kitchen was perfectly functional but again so untidy with hardly any workspace clear. Ditto the bathroom. Seriously if you are OCD about cleanliness and tidiness or have a dust allergy look elsewhere.

I stayed here when walking Lands End to John O Groats as there were no campsites in the area. With that in mind it being the cheapest option and convenient location I opted for it. Also having use of the kitchen was a great bonus for me. So basically cook some food, have a shower and get some sleep were what I wanted and it met that criteria perfectly.

My one single complaint is there were no curtains in my room. Made sleeping very difficult in broad daylight and I had to be up at 4am.

Very clean, had everything I needed. Which was basically a comfy bed for her night.

The instructions sent for the keypad were incorrect and I had to contact the owner. The tv in the room does not work and only switches on and will not load any programs. The wifi keeps dropping in and out, the kettle boils eventually after switching itself off and on. There is no bin in the room which is a pain if you are making a cup of tea.The bed was uncomfortable and the place in general looks tired and needs a spruce up.

It is a shared house and there’s three guest rooms sharing a bathroom. Wi-Fi works but tea & coffee in room didn’t as no cups in room and couldn’t find in kitchen. Might have been in the dishwasher? Didn’t like the pillows which weren’t very supportive or the big piles of laundry in the corridor. As we said, not the type of place we normally book but okay for one night.

Not the sort of property we normally book, only realised it was a shared bathroom after booking. It was a convenient location for our needs and the bed was comfortable enough. Host was very nice and prompt on the phone when we had issues with the lockbox trying to get our room key.

Easy to find in a nice, quiet cul de sac with clear instructions provided to gain access to the property. The house was very clean. There is a kettle in the room with coffee and tea.

Unfortuantely, the room and bathroom and hallway was definately not clean, thick dust very evident and unfortunately the host stayed up until 01:45 playing loud music in the kitchen directly below the room. After 4 hours I had to leave. Sorry Richard :-( Richard please look at picture 2, that is months and months of dust build up. Suggest getting in a cleaner if you moving into the SA/HMO arena.

Small cramped basic room. Not useable for older people bunk bed was not fit for a 62 or 58 year old to climb. It was a kids bunk bed, which I may add neither of us slept in. Didn't use bathroom very dirty too much hair in bath and sink and had dirty grime around bath. Never seen so many cobwebs in a house. And to write a message on a sponge "Please wipe tiles dry" after use for visitors we thought was pretty low to ask. Someone needs to look at the bathroom tiles. More human hair on them than a hair brush, probably from using same sponge that's written on over and over again. Noise from other people that stayed had no respect for other visitors. (Had the feeling they stay there on a permanent basis).

A very nice room with a great bed and in a quiet location. I slept very well. Richard was friendly and helpful and my stay went very well. Would recommend.
