They are stingy with toilet paper, only 1 per bathroom not regularly topped up.

Easy to check in, no keys. Hosts are responsive. I really like how clean it is.

Strange combination locks that did not always work. Was unnerving that the front door and bedroom codes were the same and there were other people staying on site.

Had to wait half an hour after arrival and call several times to have the code to get in sent to me, despite having confirmed my arrival time with the property. Not clear why this couldn't be sent in the morning of my booking rather than waiting until after arrival, as other similar self-check in properties do.

Great location on the banks of the river, walking distance to the main station and a variety of bus stops, with a local shop very close. Room and entire property was very clean and the accommodation was excellent value for money.

The pillow was a little big for me, not too uncomfortable though. The single quilt was a little small, but I am not used to sleeping in a single bed

Clean, well presented house and room. Just on the edge of the town, with riverside outlook. Unsure of area initially but it was actually quiet with no issues from other residents. Kitchen was adequate, with a microwave which I used and other facilities which I didn't use.

The door code system, not very practical in my opinion...they were fickle, and if they didn't open you were stuck there for some minutes before you were able to try again. in an emergency to enter the main outer entry door would be quite inconvenient.

lovely place to stay just as risk the floor of marble which have no mat to wipe a feet cos outside very wet then inside walking to bedroom and downstairs feel almost slipping the wet .. and the front door need put table mind the step when I open the door to entrance the alarm

The WiFi didn’t work or there wasn’t any wifi. It didn’t come up on my iPhone. So, I used my mobile data on my laptop and this is highly unexpected and a great demerit or disaffection experienced about the property. Otherwise, it’s almost perfect. There was no sign post indicating Riverside rooms because I was very sceptical to go to the house at first, so that it won’t be as if someone is intruding a private property.

The ironing board cover could do with replacing. If I'm being fussy my only other negative was not having tea making provisions when I arrived.

Convenient location for central Reading. Comfortable room and exceptionally clean throughout. Perfect if all you need is a bed for the night. Room and property are well secured with coded locks on all doors.

Considering I payed 60 pounds per night, having to pay extra (even if it was just 20p) to use the kitchen appliances, is ridiculous. I brought a 20p coin with me as I knew I wanted to cook my own food but it all turned off after 10 minutes so I had to ask another guest for a coin. Furthermore, the kitchen isn't fully equipped, like for example no sharp cutting knife. There was only the bare minimum. This kind of ruined my stay a bit. The code I initially received for the door was wrong so I had to call them. The "beeping" sound when putting the code into the door handles is very loud and I was woken up in the early morning (during the allocated quiet hours of 21:00:00 and 08:00:00) when another guest was trying to get into their room.

Place was clean and tidy. Good location with nice views of the river.

Very strong smell of urine in bathroom. Unable to get cold water to drink out of taps because they are mixer taps and there is always some hot water leakage leading to luke warm and stale tasting water.

Nothing, I really liked the place.

I liked the efficiency of gaining entry using the digital locks. The room and entrance were extremely clean and tidy. The views from the window nice too.
