We absolutely loved the location, the excellent customer service, the breakfast was delicious (with the bonus of excellent views!). We also loved the decor and all the prints you find on all the walls.. they were wonderful!

Very friendly younger manager who offered to carry our heavy bags to our room which we very much appreciate. It was a comfortable room & staff were friendly in the dining area where we enjoyed a very nice dinner.

Our room was very small, with the en suite effectively being a wet room - operating the shower meant soaking the toilet and everything else in that small space (including the toilet rolls). Only four clothes hangers were provided in the room. Nest time we'll pay for a bigger room! Note that there is no long stay car park in the immediate vicinity. Long stay car parking for our three-day stay was £45 - expensive! Can't St Austel Breweries, the hotel owners, find a solution to the parking problem?

The location is superb - right on the seafront, with sea views from an excellent terrace as well as from our bedroom. The dining room and bar area were very convivial, serving an excellent menu and range of local ales. Bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee was provided in the room. The staff worked very hard and were all very friendly. Dan needs special mention for his tireless efforts. Our first breakfast was great - full english, all local produce, cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, due to an illness, only a continental breakfast was available on day 3 (our stay was for only two nights), which was bad news for my wife trying to keep to her Keto diet. The assistant manager reduced our stay cost accordingly, which helped to mitigate this issue.

Everything! Great location and friendly staff. From arrival to departure, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The room was cozy and nicely appointed. The restaurant and bar offered good food and beautiful views of the harbor. I would highly recommend this lovely Inn by the sea.

Very difficult to park — best bet is to get to small short-term lot next to hotel just before 3pm check-in and buy maximum three hour period to 6pm + benefit from free overnight parking to 8am.

Exceptional location on Lyme Regis’ busy waterfront, with nice views.
