Newly refurbished. Tastefully decorated. Immaculately clean and well equipped with hairdryer, ironing facilities and tea/coffee. Lovely cotton bed linen and very comfy bed. Spacious bathroom with double size shower. I mistakenly assumed the terrace was private but it is actually shared with three other rooms. Good views across to the historic bridge. Easy access. Parking provided.

Very very very hot and no air con, only a fan which wasn’t enough to make it completely comfortable. The WiFi didn’t work in our room but the hosts offered to move us to another room which was nice

Really should have aircon installed. It was unbelievably hot in the room and the fans were not very helpful. This meant I had to keep the windows wide open which unfortunately opened out onto a main road that was busy till late.

Every detail was thought of for a comfortable 4 night stay. Tasteful decor throughout the suite. Spotlessly clean with good space for our luggage etc. Superbly large showeroom/ensuite with unit for toiletries, etc. The bed was clean and comfortable with quality linen and pillows, and extra towels available. The pedestal fans were just what was needed during what was another hot spell.

It was fine for me, I loved it but there wasn't a great deal of room, for suitcases especially as it was a double

The bed was bliss like wallowing on clouds or marshmallows. I met Sarah as I arrived (worn out from days of driving), she was very welcoming and took my case to my room, while I followed. Crickhowell is a beautiful little town and although it was a lovely evening, crashing out on that bed was too inviting. After a lovely shower I tuned into Netflix and watched a very good documentary while having a cuppa and biscuits. In the morning there was proper coffee from a pod machine to get my caffeine fix, a good hairdryer, after my shower and hair wash. I loved my stay and was so tempted to stay another night to enjoy the facilities, the outside seating area and spend more time in the area. Other commitments didn't allow it.

It was quite expensive for what it was, although the room and facilities were beautiful! We would have expected breakfast to be included at that cost compared to other rooms available in the area of similar standard.It was all self-access so we didn't see any staff. The bathroom and bedroom were beautiful,clean and had everything you needed. It was a lovely walk into the town and you could sneakily gain access to the river for a morning swim.

Room was a little small, could have done with shelf in bathroom. Full length mirror was positioned alongside bed so difficult to use it as unable to stand in appropriate position in front of it.

The bedroom was tiny and cluttered as it had two free standing fans which were needed due to the heat given off by the fridge. We needed phone torches to be able to see to plug in the kettle. There were also a ridiculous number of useless cushions that needed to be put somewhere when there was no space

The much smaller room than I was expecting was not serviced despite paying an incredibly high tariff. The Wi-fi did not work at all and the owner found no solution blaming some unspecified work by others. There is no staff on site and the restaurant staff (situated below) were completely uninterested in helping. The entrance feels quite dangerous when you enter in the dark at night - lots of hidden corners. It is noisy with the road outside with very fast cars passing close - we had to have the window open as the room got incredibly hot.

The coffee machine looked great but didn’t seem to work for some reason. This was a bit of a shame. The welcome sheet said there was WiFi but we couldn’t find it to connect to which was disappointing. The walls also must have been relatively thin as we could hear music playing pretty loudly from another room and people coming and going with their key lock. None of this is too bad though or the property’s fault but worth mentioning as the first 2 would make the stay 10/10.

So clean and beautifully decorated. Everything very modern and stylish. The shower was amazing and the decor was lovely. Staff were easy to communicate with and very friendly prior to our stay and we were able to have a late checkout.
