United KingdomThe staff at the rose and crown were brilliant and nothing was too much for them, the room was clean and tidy, with fresh towels on the bed, The bed was comfortable and clean. We stopped on the hottest weekend of the year and the staff handled it well be giving us a fan when we asked them, it provided some comfort and relief. There are two shared bathrooms to use, they were clean and tidy but a little dated but serve their purpose well. Breakfast is delicious and definitely worth the extra cost it is plentiful, freshly cooked and the staff spoke so passionately about the local produce they us.

United KingdomIt does need a little TLC in the rooms and bathrooms - one cold tap doesn’t work and the showers are outdated - but it was very clean and the bed was comfy.
The location was amazing - close to the M50 for ease of access to the North and South Wales. It was close to Gloucester and Cheltenham. The food was lovely and there was a large beer garden. Atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.

United KingdomThe room was very shabby. Bare plaster patch where a repair had been carried out but not painted. Shared bathrooms okay but tap in one bathroom didn't work. All in need of some TLC. Very creaky bed and no hanging facilities for clothes etc. Very basic but clean.
I didn't actually have breakfast as I left before 7a.m. The location was convenient and the staff very welcoming. Lovely pub garden and the staff allowed me access through the garden with my dog. Good parking available and very convenient for what I required.

United KingdomLocation of room to the pubs covered seating area (with outdoor screen). VERY noisy with customers having a good evening so couldn't get to sleep till customers had left. The access door to it banged each time someone went through it and on 3 occasions customers tried to get in to our room & when realised their error thought it was hilarious. Interior paintwork on walls needed desperate attention so to the 'wardrobe'
Staff, community spirit of the business, good honest value, tasty food. Fresh milk was provided The faulty kettle was quickly replaced.
