Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomTotal relaxation with great views. Clean & comfortable in rolling Devon hills on a working dairy farm. The best lemon drizzle was delivered on our arrival plus farm eggs & milk. Beautiful. Safely enclosed garden area so we could let our dog outside without worrying. He loved our stay, so did we. 10mins by car to the coast. Sandie was great, thank you.

AustraliaNothing at all
Very good sleeping and all the necessities for a cabin in a lovely farm location. Our host was gracious with some milk, eggs and a cake each which we enjoyed. Lyme Regis was nearby and an easy drive.

United KingdomThe farm is set down a one car only width country lane, which when you don't know the road can be quite daunting; however it was worth it once you reached the farm and all its tranquility.
Fantastic setting, peaceful and relaxing. The enclosed garden was a real bonus as we took our dog, and she could roam the garden safely. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

FranceBe aware that the road to join Rose Corner is very rough. When we first arrived, the GPS lead us through a very difficult path full of potholes and branches, there is another one that Sandy adviced us to take instead, a little more comfortable for your car. Apart from that everything was perfect.
The environment is incredible. Calm, nature all around, it's a real piece of paradise where you will really disconnect from your stressful busy life. Sandy greeted us warmly, even offering us fresh milk from her farm and delicious chocolate cupcakes. The mobil-home was very clean, well furnished and very comfortable. We loved our stay at Rose Corner. Thanks you!

United KingdomCould not fault anything.
Lovely quiet location, exceptionally clean, Sandie was very accommodating and left us milk, tea, coffee, eggs and homemade lemon cake. Good space for the dog. Lots of countryside walks. Not far from Local areas such as Lyme Regis, Seaton, Axmouth. And our son especially liked looking around the farm at the calf’s and chickens and horses. All in all fantastic couple of days would have loved to have stayed for longer than we did.

United KingdomThe lanes to the farm were very narrow and lots of potholes but that was nothing to do with the booking.
The setting was beautiful and it was so peaceful. A lovely place to stay to chill out. It was great to watch the wild life from the windows .

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing!
Everything! The host Sandie was extremely friendly and helpful. The location, perfect! The welcome pack of fresh eggs, tea, milk and the most delicious lemon cake was so lovely! The caravan was in a such a lovely spot, so quiet and peaceful, even though it's on a working farm. We never heard anything! The decking is a sun trap and we enjoyed eating our meals with a glass of wine out there. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for peace and quiet and a break away from it all.

United KingdomI booked this break for myself and my adult daughter initially, the owners were aware of this but only the double bed had been made up, we had to do the single bed ourselves. My teenage son decided last minute to come with us so upon arrival, I asked the owner if we could please have bedding for the other single bed which was provided promptly, however we realised there wasn't another duvet and we weren't offered one until 48 hours later. The 2 single beds really aren't singles, they are more like camp beds and not suitable for an adult. My daughter actually fell out of hers in the night after rolling over in her sleep. The twin room is so small that you can easily touch both walls from the centre of the room. There is no space for a bedside table or lamp and barely any storage. The TV in the living area has terrible reception and as it's not a smart TV and there was no Wi-Fi we weren't able to stream anything or cast from our phones. The caravan is tired and a bit grubby, the curtains have mould on them, the sofas need cleaning or re-upholstering and I had to clean out the cutlery drawer as it was dirty and had 'bits' in it. Also the gas grill wouldn't light and the towels are too small for even a short, slim adult female nevermind an average height and build male. I'm struggling to understand the rave reviews as overall I found it pretty disappointing unfortunately.
The property is in a picturesque setting, well placed for visiting Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Seaton and is surrounded by farmland, very peaceful. The caravan has a well equipped kitchen, clean bed linen and a lovely deck area, perfect for sitting out with a glass of wine while the dogs played in the enclosed garden.
