Instructions to locate the property were not clear and had to phone to get help. He quickly sent entrance instructions but would have been nice to have these beforehand. The car park is labelled Ruxley Cottages and the signage says Ruxley Rooms but I was looking for Ruxley Studios!

Last minute booking, totally unresearched, place is OK, nothing special to look at, we had a studio that was clean, very presentable, great bed, good facilities, parking right outside and for the money absolutely spot on.

Difficult to see the numbers on the door code in the dark, a light shone on it made it worse. On leaving, the instruction says to drive to the gates and they will open, what they don't tell you is the gates open inwards, ie towards the car. No bedside table, no bedside light so you have to get out of bed to turn off the main light . Shower head rail too high. Toilet seat loose.

I got text details of how to access but once I was on the grounds , everything was perfect. I was easy to get help with appliances, as staff on site, were quick to assist and ensure everything was easy to use. Nice quiet venue, with secure parking

The facilities and equipment in the kitchen area were very good. The bathroom was also well fitted out, with a clean, modern suite, and shower. There wasn't a mirror in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Also, no toilet roll holder, which meant we had to reach round to get toilet roll off the top of the toilet when going to the loo.

The Ruxley studio is convenient and central for us to visit relatives. We have previously stayed in a room in the house, but found it small and noisy. The studio is roomier and quieter.

The room was a little warm and the freezer looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. You can hear the guests in the opposite room quite clearly - but wasn’t too much of an issue for me!

This properly is so cute and was lovely to stay in! Perfect size for me and had all the facilities I could ask for. Bed was super comfortable and, with a little help from the owner, was able to connect to the WiFi with ease. Had no trouble with the room at all, it was just what I needed.

There was quite a bit of noise outside late into the night, people sat in their cars and talking, laughing quite loudly and the door to the space only closed if it was fully locked otherwise it would swing wide open

If I am being picky, I would have liked a chair and desk in the room, even a foldable one if not enough space. Good job I wasn't working on this trip so not an issue for this particular visit.

Location was brilliant with loads of parking and the host very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The studio is slightly smaller than the pictures depict, but the ambience and design makes it all better!

Its a very nice location. Quiet and serene. The pictures definitely dont do justice to the studio. It’s cozy and feels like home away from home. We settled in almost immediately! Id definitely be back. We also felt really safe all through. I will definitely recommend to everyone including solo travelers.Definitely good value for money.
