Nothing - it was great! The bathroom is an en suite to the bedroom so maybe something to consider if you're having extras on the sofa bed. We were fine with that though.

Beautiful setting, lovely clean apartment with everything you would need for a couple and a sofa bed for an extra guest or two. The hosts were great and couldn't have done more for us.

Loved everything

Second time visiting here, stayed with partner and kids in the shepherds hut last time so stayed in the lodge this time with my dad. Absolutely love this place! Everything has been thought of, my daughter didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back.

Maybe having curtains in the bedroom would be good, and in living area, especially in summertime when it goes light early morning. That’s the only recommendation

We’ve had an amazing overnight stay here, everything was perfect, the owners have thought of everything. The little extras make a huge difference. Our little boy (3yrs) loved being by the sheep, the owners even brought out a bucket of food with a scoop which he was delighted with. We enjoyed the games room & being able to order drinks was a bonus! We also ordered the wood logs & marshmallows for the log fire outside, lovely touch. This place is like a home from home, everything has a fresh brand new feel about it, we highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our mini break. The accommodation was pristine, and everything was to hand. The hosts were exceptional and answered any queries, and the extra personal touch of the welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Definitely come back again and with older kids in tow as the games room was perfect.

Internet was a little bit hit and miss, sofa/bed wasn’t the most comfy to sit on for a longer period of time.

Place was spotless had everything I needed for an overnight stay, easy to follow instruction on how to get there. Bed was comfy and the place was so quiet. Great little addition was the games room. Maintained and fitted out to a very high standard.

The location was perfect and the set up was lovely. We had marshmellows on the fire pit provided and woke up to have a cup of tea with the sheep it was such a beautiful place and the hosts were lovely would highly recommend

The location was very quiet and peaceful which made for a relaxing stay. Easy to find. Plenty of space and secure parking. Could park our van directly outside the lodge. Host is lovely, excellent communication. The games room was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended.

The property name should have been on the gate, the main house name is on the gate but when you use the directions on Booking.com it’s not clear that this is the right place… We asked neighbours but they weren’t sure either. I know there was a message sent in the booking app but I didn’t see that until after.

The lodge and games room were fantastic. Everywhere was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had all facilities you could need. Attention to detail was second to none. The icing on the cake is a lovely outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy the countryside location.

It was advertises that the games room was open till 10pm we was going to go for a game of pool around 8ish and the shutters was down.

Location was lovely! Property was very clean and smelt amazing. Games room was impressive.
