Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe location was just right for our weekend away. A quiet, secure and private little studio tucked away and the bottom of a large garden with views over fields and countryside. Very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great communication from hosts.

Great location, hosts Jules and Ian were very helpful. Were there if needed, but let us get on with our break . Studio was separated by a long garden with great views .Safe parking on site , very clean . We spent our daytime out and about. So it was great to come back and chill in the evening, listening to the birds and watching the sunset. Would recommend for a couples getaway.

United KingdomThere was nothing I didn't like.
This accommodation was absolutely idyllic and a little gem of a find. Tucked away at the back of a huge garden property looking over fields where the sun sets. Everything from the facilities to the comfort of stay was a 10/10. The hosts are what really made it though - very kind and who went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience and arrived at the wedding on time. I highly recommend for a solo or couple stay. Thanks guys!

United KingdomThis is a small thing, but perhaps there's too much furniture in the cabin. It felt a bit cluttered with our bags, there wasn't really a space for us to open our case except on the bed.
Fantastic location and views Beautifully laid out Milk, tea & coffee Really clear and friendly communication from Jules The cabin is in their back garden, but feels totally private

United KingdomNothing to report.
The garden room was perfect for me. I felt safe as a solo traveller as it's behind electric gates and felt secure. The accommodation suited me really well, was clean and well equipped. Great use of space and very comfy bed. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises with rabbits, pheasants, and red kites to watch. Close to Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst gardens. Thank you for providing a perfect, comfy place to explore from.

United KingdomToilet area is a bit narrow - praps not good if you are a big person. I struggled to get the shower to the right temp but that might be my fault! Bit dusty / cobweby in places but no great problem as overall it was clean
At bottom of a big garden overlooking a meadow. In a gated private house so v secure for car. Had far more facilities than a hotel - crockery, cutlery, cooking, fridge (with milk) etc.

United KingdomA perfect space & base for me while attending a weekend event in Cranbrook. Accommodation is private & secluded among apple trees at the bottom of a big garden and private outside space with field views at the back. Comfortable bed, place was clean, tidy with all usual amenities. Compact & bijou & ideal for a solo traveller, a cute little retreat space, nice & quiet! Milk in fridge when I arrived & nice automatic espresso machine available to use. Kitchen even has an air fryer. Good shower with toiletries/towels provided. Hosts were friendly & welcoming with good communication but also respected privacy & personal space. Clear instructions for directions/arrival as well as for using amenities. Automatic gates with key fob to access venue so place is pretty secure. At night the walk to the Accomodation from the car is well lit and night lights are in the garden/patio area. I loved the outside space for an early eve drink in the sun as well as having breakfast and doing my morning exercise/practice. Added bonus - They let me take some apples home with me from their apple trees, and... I left a few personal items by accident & the hosts are posting them back to me! So overall a great stay and I would highly recommend!!
