There was only 1 bedside table and no lamps. The floor in bathroom was slippery with no shoes on. The shower doors didn't meet in the middle. Could have done with an iron. There needed to be more plug sockets.

The room was tidy and the bed was so comfy. Liked the bows on the toilet rolls. Liked that there was a fridge freezer in the room. Also the hairdryer.

Suggested improvements 1. I'd recommend notifying guests that they need to check in at the sister hotel (about a minute walk away) ahead of their arrival. If you arrive tired after a long journey or it's late or the weather is poor, it might not go down well. 2. Also suggest putting a simple map on the notice of the front door, to help those who process things visually work out where they need to go. 3. As breakfast isn't available at the hotel, suggest provide a list of places that offer breakfast (cafes, hotels that allow walk-ins etc) and also directions to the nearest convenience store (there's a NISA a couple of minutes walk away) if guests wish to do their own thing.

Location was ideal for spending the weekend at a convention at the BIC Accommodation was roomy, clean and quiet (thanks to location at back of building and other guests being considerate) Ability to park out front was super helpful and the daily charge was much cheaper than any other alternatives. I was also grateful to be able to check in early (luck of the draw I guess). Didn't see any staff at the hotel but the team at the sister hotel with welcoming and helpful

You never see any staff and someone should visit to ask if you needed more tea or coffee could not get the tv to work properly and when I called respeption there wasn't anyone to come help...

I might have been upgraded to a double room but it was stiflingly hot despite my efforts to turn radiator off. No bedside light, Noisy fridge/ freezer in the room struggling against the heat just to keep tiny long life milk pots in. No staff on premises. No catering at all. More a hostel than hotel. Extra charge of £10 cash for a permit to park in the empty car park that I had not been advised of.

Location was convenient. I was given a double room as they didnt have a single. it was clean and cheap

Only one curtain with very few hooks at large picture window. Would have really liked two proper curtains.

I'd read that the hotel had been fully refurbished but I don't think you can call a lick of paint 'fully refurbished'. Still very dated; only one light switch which is by the door i.e. you have to get out of bed and walk to the switch. Only two hangers in the wardrobe. No hooks anywhere in the room not even the bathroom for a towel or hand towel. No toilet roll holder!

Pleasant enough and good location. The Hop Inn which is just across the road do a great value English breakfast.

Location great for my needs ... A steep hill climb but l didnt mind was good exercise.. Lovely manager.l was not happy with my room and he moved me after 1night.

Parking paid for 24h 10£ at 19:00 on day 1 but staff did not allowed to leave the car after 11:00 check out, but only allowed to keep it up to 14:00 on day2. Stained carpets and no vacuum done before. No A/C. Shower in room 103 only giving hot water ( tough to have a shower after sun burns). Shower leaking in multiple places, lowering down the water pressure.

Was advertised as having a continental breakfast which is why we booked the hotel as location was good and price represented good value with the breakfast but was falsely advertised as when we asked were told there was no breakfast included?? Had to pay 10 pounds for parking at hotel and when I've stayed at other hotels this has been included in the price of the room. Not enough milk for tea or coffee in the room. On arrival property had nobody at reception and you had to call the number on the door and walk to a different hotel to check in and get your keys? Never had this before and if you had walking difficulties this would not be the hotel for you. Bathroom was tiny and after your shower nowhere to hang your towels maybe a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door could be provided. Fridge was positioned in a strange place so if you needed to get out of bed in the dark you would bang your knee on the metal frame my partner done this 3 times as space was tight around the bed. Better place for Fridge would be next to wardrobe and then the small cupboard next to wardrobe next to the bed much better use of space as the room was not to big.

Location was close to town so very good, room was nice and clean with parking available. Room was available to check into early. Tea and coffee facilities and a fridge in the room. Plenty of storage and bed comfortable. Hairdryer available in draw and room fresh and bright.
