This place is a little gem. The views were lovely from the hot tub, very peaceful and quiet place. There was a little 24 hours self service shop which was very handy.

Lovely cosy little hut. We took our 7 year old daughter and dog and would definitely visit again. The hot tub was a lovely treat for all three of us and I would highly recommend.

As I had booked through booking.com, I did not realise that the hut would be off grid, especially the huts being in a mobile signal dead zone, but this did not ruin the experience. I did learn that Mid Wales Luxury Huts, do have their own website and an extensive explanation of their huts and what each one offers, which was helpful in preparing for the trip. I did expect to bring my own firewood or to purchase them from the onsite shop and used about 7 bags for the hot tub, fireplace and fire pit for a 2 night stay. No complaints from me - would advise anyone to book the Cut Cornel hut with an open mind, maybe lots of good food, drinks and hot tubbing to past the time!

Overall my stay with the Mid Wales Luxury Huts has been fantastic and a memorable one. The hosts were amazing as they were extremely helpful and friendly. We did have an incident where we had run out of gas for the BBQ, but the host were incredibly responsive and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. If you are looking for a little romantic getaway, I do believe that you would not be let down, the location of the hut was perfect as you are remote in the countryside with beautiful scenery all around, but a short drive to the nearest seaside town. The hut and hot tub was clean overall and offered a lot of privacy. Would love to stay again. Thank you again Sioned & Andy!

Wonderful location nice and quiet. Lovely and comfortable and we took our dog. The hot tub was ready to use. There was a little farm shop on site.

I loved everything to be honest. Just there was no plug socket for my hair straighteners only usb ports. But I just platted my hair and away we went. ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay. The hut was clean and tidy and they even put balloons up as it was my partners birthday. The hot tub was ready on our arrival too. 🩵

Nothing didn't like. It was perfect!!

Friendly owners couldn't do enough. Great little honesty shop on site which was well stocked and good prices. Loved the shepherds hut, hot tub bath, log burner and positioning of the hut. There is plenty of own space and spaced out great with lots of privacy. Loved the friendly chickens and the eggs are lovely to purchase on site too. Highly recommend for peace and quiet and relax. Loved it. Everything thought through to the last detail. Brilliant. Bed comfy. Everything very clean. Got own private area. Perfect with the dog too for her to relax within the decked area at side of the caravan. Inside very comfy and has everything you need. Cannot wait to return. Special place.

Found adjusting to gas only a bit daunting but was well equipped!

Really sweet place with great amenities. Lovely hot tub, beautiful views and comfortable bed. Hosts are incredibly accommodating.

I was surprised about the porta loo but it didn't affect our stay.

the location was very secluded, the Shepard's hut was clean, tidy and cozy, it had everything we needed for cooking, dining, etc. The bed was very comfy. We were welcomed very well, and I requested for birthday banners at short notice which was not any bother for the hosts. she also had the hot tub warmed up ready for our arrival.

We were lucky enough not to have guests staying in the hut the night after, so the hosts were happy for us to check out later. Had this not been the case, we'd have been disappointed. The advertised 9am check out almost deterred us from booking.

Such a perfect getaway. The hosts were friendly and were kind enough to preheat the hottub for our late arrival. The hot tub was fantastic and it was great to have extra logs available at the hut for a very reasonable £5/bag. We loved the stream at the foot of the decking and the chickens a stone's throw behind the hut. The location is quite easy to find thanks to the hosts' instructions. The hut had everything we could possibly need kitchen-wise, the bed was comfy, the hut was clean, and though the composting toilet can take some getting used to, it was by no means unpleasant. The barbecue was great to have though confusing to light, but the host's mother was on hand to help us within a moment's notice. We really enjoyed having meals on the wooden decking overlooking the stream. The mini-shop was a nice addition for (not the most affordable) emergency supplies and the freezer to swap ice-blocks was great to keep the ice box cold each day. There's a lovely walk we did that starts at the hut and goes up onto the hills which I'd recommend. Though the hut is off-grid, we could just about make the most of the mini-shop's free WiFi from our decking. Sadly the USB ports by the bed didn't seem to work so we had to use the kitchen's USB ports, and the main light switch plate wasn't fitted properly and kept falling on the floor, but neither of these problems were a bother in the grand scheme of things. Overall I would definitely recommend to a friend!

The seating area inside was more like a bench so when it was raining outside and we sat in with the fire on you couldn’t get cosy of the couch. That was the only thing really nothing major at all.

The whole place was idyllic the sound of the stream, sheep and chickens also added to the charm of this place. Loved the little help yourself on site shop for any essentials you may need. The bed, wood fired hot tub were the highlights for me. The hosts were super easy to contact and were very friendly. A great place for a quiet relaxation.

Not 1 thing I didn’t like

Absolutely everything, it’s a perfect little slice of heaven , if you want to get away from your life for a little while go here It’s clean , quiet , perfectly set out for privacy, a little honesty shop , which we used a few times , the people who own it are just so nice, fresh eggs from their own chickens that are on the site , they provided some wood to get you started and then loads you could buy if you needed more The little huts are equipped with everything you need for your stay I will definitely be back ❤️

Nothing what's so ever

We loved it all. If you're after a peaceful break, then this is perfect. My wife was chilling on the decking with a glass of wine, watching the sheep and their lambs while a few pheasants popped into the field. There were also rabbits in hedge row and buzzards in the sky. In the meantime, I was cooking our dinner on the log burner stove as I waited for the log fired jacuzzi to warm up. It was pure bliss. We took the puppy too, and he was secure on the decking as the hut is all fenced off. There is also a shop there which is a great idea. The shop is an honest shop where you help yourself and leave the cash in a locked box. They really have thought of everything.

There was nothing to dislike.

Sitting outside with only the sounds of the stream in the background, the views if the mountains and hot tub slowly warming up while sipping a Welsh gin and tonic. Absolutely awesome place to stay.

My partners only gripe was that it had a composting toilet but we should have known this because it did say in the details.

Beautiful location and a lovely, very well kept hut. Very comfortable bed and exceptionally clean.
