Lovely quite location with everything we needed in the hut. It was more spacious than we thought and very comfortable. Our hosts were great with communication and made checking in and out very easy. We didn't spend much time in the local town apart from having dinner next to the Abbey, it is a very beautiful view.

Exactly as advertised. Lovely, cosy, well equipped cabin. Great location and very peaceful.

The only negative was the outside area could have done with bit of a tidy up/ clean but wouldn’t stop me returning.

Fantastic quiet location. Very private and secluded. Fabulous facility. Super clean and comfortable. Very nice outside seating area. Very relaxing. Lovely little touch of beer in the fridge for us. Superb! Excellent communication before we arrived (for directions and access to hut etc). Also, and we didn't mind this at all / we didn't feel offended, but we didn't see the hosts - we were just trusted to enjoy the hut ourselves. Ten out of ten. Excellent.

Very very very minor point, but front door didn't quite fit the frame properly, so could be a bit draughty in winter. Told you it was a minor point! Other than that it was superb!

The shepherds hut was in the most beautiful and tranquil spot and was kitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners have thought of everything! The beers and milk left for us in the fridge were a kind touch. Our stay was during a heatwave and the outdoor seating and dining with the cover of mature, leafy trees was very welcome. It’s a private little spot in beautiful gardens with a horse in the field in the grounds. Idyllic. We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights in beautiful spot within an area of outstanding beauty.

The whole cabin and garden was spotless, the bed was very comfy, sitting at night in the garden with string lights around and the firepit going was absolute bliss!! The area is peaceful and the town is quaint with lots of history.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Quiet isolated location. Everything was thought of, we wanted for nothing. gacilities were excellent. Information prior to arrival, upon arrival was spot on.

The shepards hut was exceptional, didn't have a worry in the world. Everything we needed for a break was provided. It was situated in a beautiful location where it wasn't far to drive to the lidl to get what we needed to cook. The firepit was lovely on a night time. The bed was the comfiest, like sleeping on a cloud. We really had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. Back to reality now as we live in a city. But we will definitely be returning. Thankyou x

The hut is perfect! The location is beautiful and the hut itself is very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the books above it weren't just for decoration! There was a nice selection for anyone to find something to read.

So comfortable and quiet and relaxing. Well equipped and set up. The perfect antidote to a busy term.

The dog does not like having guests!

The area was idyllic and there is a lot to do around the area, the place was exactly like the photos and super cute, very peaceful and perfect getaway for a couple.

A wonderful, tranquil retreat in a gorgeous location. So beautifully and thoughtfully put together. The bird song in the morning is incredible!
