We stayed four nights at the cottage and we really loved every minute of it! It really does feel like home and not like a holiday cottage. It is such a cozy place with everything you need. We also liked the location which is quite central so that you can reach all locations on Skye easily. If we do come back to Skye we will definitely stay here again!

Well equipped, very cozy and amazing place. We are impressed by all the preparation of the owner and the thoughtful preparation of the owner. No faults, we would come again for family trips. Hopefully we didn’t make any disturbance on such a peaceful and beautiful place.

Nothing, everything was absolutely wonderful.

We had such a fantastic stay at this house! It was absolutely beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. It really felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, not far from Portree, so it was easy to pop into town, but still in a nice, peaceful spot. Waking up to the stunning views every morning was just amazing. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on Skye. Already dreaming about coming back!

The twin beds- maybe if there was an option to zip them together to make a double, but still they were comfortable.

Spacious cottage, equipped with everything that you will need. The easy access to the road allows for fast travel to all the island has to offer. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

There was nothing not to like!

The Skeabost Wood Cottage was exceptional! The big windows brought the outside in and the skylights in the bedrooms brought the stars in at night! We did not want to leave!

It was like a home away from home for us. Everything was designed and decorated so beautifully, more importantly so practically- especially the kitchen. Excellent views, amazing location and most importantly spectacularly maintained home! Loved the sweet gesture of the fudge and prosecco!

Everything was perfect during our stay!

Great location, just 8 mins from the town of Portree. The house is modern, warm and a great base for seeing all the sights on the Isle of Skye. Easy check-in procedure and the host was very responsive to questions.

This was probably the best equipped place we have stayed in. Everything was fantastic. Lovely crockery, cutlery, furniture , linen , beds. Lovely decor- the right balance of old and new. The location was fantastic. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here

This place is GORGEOUS! Very spacious for our family of 4. Kitchen was so well-stocked and we enjoyed the many games there as well as the Netflix. A short drive into town and to many scenic locations (Trotternish Loop, Dunvegan Castle, etc). Just a perfect place to unwind! Highly recommend!

No negatives - everything was perfect.

Perfectly located, very well equipped and energy efficient property. It always felt warm and secure. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the linen was high quality. Easy to find using the directions given by the owner. Very well priced - highly recommended.
