Just used for sleeping, it was comfy and quiet. I have nothing I didn't like.

Beds were very comfy and the area was quiet. We didn’t use the other facilities other than what our room had. Party of 4, dorm to ourselves with its own bathroom. Staff were welcoming, just what we needed after a very long day of walking and sightseeing. Nice to walk through the park the following morning on our way to the V and A.

We need to open the window to cool off the heat of summer. That means there are lot of noises when we sleep.

The room and the kitchen is clean. It's nice to have a bathroom to share to only 6 people in the room. The locker is big, enough to put a backpack and a carry on. There is a curtain for privacy.

The room was a little bit close to a restaurant so there was some noise from there

-In the dorm of 6 there is only one bathroom. I didn't see any more on that floor. It can be tricky if everyone needs to use it at the same time. -The beds were small, with a lot less headroom than I'm used to.

-There was a lift to all floors. -Located very centrally, with some lovely cafes and restaurants in the same street. -The communal area and dorms were clean and well maintained. -Friendly staff. -Very nice shower and washroom facilities.

Rooms used to get hot.I came in August and even when night temperatures were around 15C, we were sleeping with windows opened and with a portable fan.I must say it was hot as I slept without the shirt. Probably good for winter times.

Great location. Three tube stations , Queensway, Baywater and Paddington are at walking distance within 10minutes.Paddington has a direct connectivity to Heathrow. All the Bus trips have a pick up station near to this property.In fact 5 minutes from the hostel. One can take a walk at Hyde park as well, which was at throw away distance.

Mattress was very compressed in the middle which made it difficult to get comfortable as I felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. No curtains on the windows and each bunk had privacy curtains — but they did not block out all light and it got very bright. Very tiny room and difficult to move around when everyone woke up. Waiting for bathroom took up a lot of time.

Nicest and cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Fab location. Friendly staff. Best bathroom in a hostel ever.

This hostel doesn't have A/C in the rooms. There are fans, but it can get very hot during summer.

Great location, especially if you wanna spend time in Hyde Park. Staff was super friendly too. The lounge was very spacious and kitchen had everything needed for cooking.

the early morning reception was not helpful when i requested his assistance for booking an Uber cab for early morning when i had a problem with my internet. I agree tis is not assigned work, but they could have helped a traveller in distress in unknown land

We absolutely loved our stay at Smart Hyde Park View! Everything was just perfect — the room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping made sure it stayed that way every single day. The reception team were all super friendly and welcoming, especially the night shift staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed anything. The location couldn’t be better, just minutes away from the tube and bus stops, which made exploring London so easy. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the city!

Walking distance to transport. Close to park. We had our own room. It was comfortable. The bathroom was small but still okay. We got a view of the street which was nice. It does get noisy at night with patrons at the eating places across the street but we didn’t mind it. Staff were okay. Good choices for breakfast.

The room was very hot even with a fan but it was a very hot day and the bathroom was very small.

We stayed in a private room. The location was perfect and the room was good value for money. Staff were friendly and check in process was smooth. Beds were comfortable and whole hostel was very clean Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Felt hot in the afternoon in summer, especially the window was a little bit difficult to open, and there’s only a ceiling fan provided in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. There’s an elevator which makes the luggage easy to carry to upstairs.

Bedsheets had dirt marks after change for second night. Window couldn’t be propped open at all so room was incredibly hot at all times

The only bad thing was the heat inside the room. The fan is like having nothing in there. We requested another fan, and it got a little bit better.

I got the female dorm with a private bathroom, and it was almost perfect. The shower was great, the lockers were super big (it fitted my carry on), and the bunk beds were okay too (I got the bottom one). Kitchen was complete and everything worked.
