All was good.

Comfortable, immaculate B&B. Friendly hospitable hosts. Excellent cooked breakfast including omelette and vegan choices. Bedroom had nice sea view. Kettle, coffee, tea, biscuits, fresh milk in shared fridge provided. Good location to visit Clovelly and coastal paths around Hartland Quay. Several pubs in nearby Hartland for dinner - we liked the Anchor Inn.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The Hosts were great from start to finish. The room was great lovely atmosphere comfy bed. Great location for visiting area. Sea views from bedroom windows. Free parking. Full size fridge on landing with fresh milk . An other drinks to buy. Or just use for ur own drinks. My whole experience was very calming an so relaxing 5*****

The traffic noise was just outside your window, but was acceptable after 11.

We were well looked after, breakfast was what you required, Helen and Brian were excellent hosts and were great with information and general conversation.

Accommodation lovely building,room clean tidy and well presented.Bed linen crisp and ironed. Food freshly cooked well presented. Helen and Brian look after their guests.

For visiting the Hartland Peninsula I think it's a very central location. Clovelly and Hartland are very close. The B & B was clean and inviting. Hosts Helen and Brian could not have been more thoughtful and helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped. There was even a small fridge to keeps drinks cool. Breakfasts wery very good, aside from cereals, yogurt and fruit, and kind of egg combination was possible.

We stayed over night during a trip to Clovelly. Brain and Helen are fantastic hosts with a beautiful and clean b and b. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we received a lovely breakfast in the morning. We would highly recommend Southdown B and B

Helen and Brian were so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view, the food was all coked freshly to order and there was a good selection of cereals and spreads. A really lovely place to stay.

We would have preferred to walk every where, but the location wouldn’t really permit this, it was on a bus route, unfortunately they didn’t run on Sunday or bank holidays, which was two of our days.

The organisation was excellent, everything was thought of. Good quality products were thought out including the excellent breakfast, even the use of a fridge to chill your wine and keep snacks in.

A fabulous place to stay. Brian and Helen were wonderful hosts. The room was airy, spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with a large shower. Breakfast was everything one would want before a day’s walking. Nicely cooked and well presented. We will certainly be returning when next in the area.

Brian and Helen are lovely and so welcoming. The house is charming, our bedroom was very comfortable and the location is great to visit North Devon. Last but not least, Brian makes the best poached eggs I ever tasted!!!
