This was a lovely property on the lower floor of a large period property (down 4 steps outside, then 2 steps after entering front door). Decorated in a quirky design which is tastefully done. Also had a lovely small partially covered courtyard. All the facilities that you need were available. Free parking is provided a short distance away, although we were able to stop outside property to unload/load car which was handy. Overall it was very comfortable and would stay in again when visiting family.

The lighting is subdued in the living/kitchen area at night time, so not great for meal preparation and computer work.

The decor made this place feel like you were staying in a stately home. It is within easy walking distance to all the tourist spots and very close to the old docks eateries. Loved the bay window dining area.

Sound proofing re upstairs flat was not the best but the lack of it was by no means intolerable. Despite having the access code for the internet and being able to connect to the network, there was no internet service on the network.

Uniquely & tastefully furnished and well equipped. Great location within easy walking distance of town centre and dock area. Parking space provided within short walking distance.

Feedback given by us to host was that access to a dustpan and brush (or broom) would have been useful for between meal clean ups, rather than needing the vaccuum each time, and the washing machine needed a deep clean. The host was thankful for the feedback and eager to rectify those minor issues for future.

Very spacious apartment, everything major in Gloucester was a 10-minute walk away, so we didn't need to move the car much at all. When the basement neighbours (same host BnB) were rude by playing loud music all night, the host was responsive and apologetic, dealing with the situation promptly. The park opposite was perfect for our young children and really quiet in the mornings. Bedrooms were spacious and well decorated. Kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation. One of the best accommodations we used on our whole trip.

Unfortunately I arrived during a downpour and a hole in the gutter above made a strong spout of water fall just where I was trying to open the key box. It was very stiff, but I was fortunate to receive help from some obliging neighbours.

I loved the decor, which gave the apartment a lot of character. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Tea, coffee and sugar were also provided.

Our personal preference but we found the mattress too hard and as we are used to a king size bed found the double a bit small.

The location is perfect for discovering Gloucester. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Outside area which was great for the dogs.

The space for a family of four isn't really big enough. Not bad for a night or two away but wouldn't stay long term.

The location is the key to this one bed apartment. The park is on your doorstep and a short walk to a variety of eating places and shops. The apartment is unique with a kitsch art feel, lots of art work and a mix match of furniture. It's not really big enough for our family ( me, my husband and two boys 11 and 13) it would be perfect for a couple.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

I stayed here with my partner and Grandson, we really felt at home here as it was so comfy with a lot of knick knacks and plenty of essentials. It was very clean, easy to access and plenty of communication with the hosts. Would love to stay here again.

I thought the outside space would be better you could only see a small strip of sky when stood up.There was a smell of drains and the water system frequently spluttered and gushed in the drains.We didn’t use that area. You couldn’t see the garden but at least you could see outside including more sky from the living room window. The fridge was a little dirty. The dishes were not clean and some had been put away dirty.

Location was great in exploring Oxford. Lovely having the park opposite. The kitchen was well equipped. Great amount of floor space inside. Quirky decor. Games provided. Shower was great,lovely bathroom Shampoo,conditioner soap hairdryer provided .

Outside space looked uninviting with green mold on concrete. We were unable to gain access as the key in the door didn’t appear to work. Unable to watch terrestrial tv & had to use catch up perhaps this was us but couldn’t find any instructions

Good location although immediate area seems to be a little run down.Good facilities & ideal for base to explore.
