I hesitated to review this place because I don't want too many people to know about it. If you want to get away from it all yet still be only a couple of hours from Glasgow,10 minutes from Inveraray,1 hour from Oban,then this is the place for you. The apartment has everything you need for a getaway,and it is In a quiet and tranquil part of Argyle and Bute. I can't recommend it highly enough and my partner and I are already looking to book to go back.

We loved staying here! It was just what we wanted - peaceful yet close enough to Inveraray. The lodge was very comfortable with a superior kitchen and bathroom and a big comfy bed. The little enclosed seating area out the front was lovely - especially with the bird feeder in full view. We had everything we needed, can't fault this place!

One of the best lodges we have stayed in. Was spotless with the comfiest bed ever. Very peaceful if you want to get away from it all. Very well equipped has everything you need. Loved watching the birds feeding right outside the window.

The lodge was very well equipped, the location is beautiful. You do need a car. The hosts were friendly and informative whilst giving us our own space. 100% would return and recommend.

The property was great & would definitely return. A couple of small changes would make it perfect. 1. A garden set or picnic bench for eating outside on the deck which has the most beautiful views. 2. Iron, ironing board & clothes drier for guests staying longer.

Property is in a rural & peaceful location with beautiful views & walks. The lodge is well equipped & comfortable. A perfect stay to relax but also has good road links for visiting other areas of Argyle. Ally & Calvin are great hosts who live next door to the lodge. They’re around if needed but give you your privacy at all other times.

Should of booked a little longer

This has to be the best property on booking. Com stunning location amazing views. Its out of the way but thats a good thing when you just want to get away from everything and relax very clean very well equipped with everything you can possibly want. Also great to sit in the conservatory and watch the bird feeders. Can not rate this property highly enough it really is that good. And inveraray is not that far by motorbike/car from hear if therr anything you need to pick up

The rain.

The lodge was very comfortable & clean. Alison was welcoming when we arrived, but she left us alone whilst we were there. We could sit & look at the view for hours. The track down to the lodge was bumpy, but worth it when you arrived.

I can not think of something. Of course we had more space in other venues but space isn't everything.

The host was very friendly. We had a few good talkes. The lodge is in fact not so spacious at all, but all what you need is very well layed out en high tech. We loved it.

The location was beautiful and the view stunning. We enjoyed sitting in the annexed winter garden watching the midges outside in the evening 🤭 The house was very clean and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was really comfy.

Wish we’d stayed longer!

STUNNING LOCATION!!! Cannot describe how incredible the views are in the evening and in the morning! The peace and quiet of this location was such a treat. Absolutely spotlessly clean, even the outside area surrounded by trees and birds was perfectly clean and clear. Fabulous hosts, greeted upon arrival and talked through the welcome pack and the facilities of the lodge. Lodge has absolutely everything you could possibly need.. comfiest bed ever!!! We even took a photo of the label so we could find it for ourselves.

Fantastic little lodge, excellent location if you’re looking to relax somewhere quiet. Scenic walking routes on your doorstep and not too far a drive from civilisation. Cant recommend the property enough it was absolutely immaculate and the hosts were very friendly, 10/10 will definitely return.

It’s on a working farm and the approach road could be in better condition but seeing the sheep and cattle close up was interesting.
