Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaIt was quite stuffy and warm without an air conditioner. You could open the windows, which helped greatly. However, with the trains nearby, they needed to be kept closed overnight.
Although a distance out from central London, the accommodation was easy to reach by train and a short walk. The kitchen was very well appointed. With the windows closed, it was nice and quiet.

South AfricaOnly provided with 1 bath towel, asked twice never arrived
Location was excellent- 3mins to the mall & tube stop (harrow on the hill) - which is excellent if you have to attend event at Wembley stadium and easy to get to central London - simply requires easy change at Finchley on the Jubilee line. Room was modern, clean - looked same as pics. Shower a bit small but can manage. Gym available if req'd.

AustraliaI had booked this accomodation in September for our holiday in Dec. we were assigned apartment 107. When we arrived we were told that we have apartment 419. Which was fine. We were shown how to put the bed up and down . The room came with NO instructions on how to use any of the appliances. The stove, the microwave Owen , the heating thomostat. We were staying for 10 days. They gave us only one set of towels. There was no bath mat. Only one roll of toilet paper. No tissues . No soap. No toilet brush to clean after ourselves . No bin in the toilet. No bin liners. Nothing in the pantry . No kitchen knife . No soap in the kitchen , no kitchen sponge . No tea towel. I even had to ask for a second tea cup as they only gave us one. There was only one pillow each. So I had to request for two more. It took them three days before I got them and a second set of towels. I asked for an extra set of sheets, which they said they can’t provide. So I had to wash our linnen half way thru our trip and be stuck waiting for them to dry. There was no housekeeping service , given we were staying there for 10 days. I had to ask for a broom to sweep up as there were no broom in the room. I ended up buying the bare essentials . Overall this made our stay quite distasteful. The excuse given by the management was that this apartment was not one of their usual rentals. I am actually annoyed as they neglected a-lot of the finer details that you would except from a place like this. Also there was no hairdryer. I had to ask for one . There was no instructions incase of a fire and no fire extinguisher or fire blanket given there was a stove in the studio. In addition to that, the room had an odd wall near the bed .. which narrowed the space able to move to about 1/2 a foot. I knocked my knee on the bed so many times! One late night the our card didn’t work to get in. There was no number to call in an emergency. We were lucky that another tenant let us in .
5 mins from Harrow on the Hill train station. Very accessible in terms of transport although area felt a little dingy around the station at night. . The studio was clean . Adina , the young woman at the front reception was nice.

United StatesThe staff was rude. I am sorry I understand this economy is crappy but the attitude with the men and house keeper was beyond rude and unprofessional. I am sorry I asked for extra towels but I didn't know what they wanted my husband to dry off with when I only had one towel in my room. There was nothing in the flat clean floors or to ask anyone to clean the flat even if it was offered. I felt like I was bothered when I asked questions and I am sorry I thought I was a customer and asking simple questions was a bother to the staff.
It was modern and felt safe . If you are an independent person this is the place for you. At the end of the day this place is highly recommended but deal with rude staff and cleaning people. Hot running water cleans the bathroom and a great bed to sleep in for my husband and I.

Hong KongThe location was not great. If you are visiting for a short trip, definitely do not pick this place. For a short term stay, not many amenities and I had to purchase most things on my own (e.g. toilet paper, cleaning equipment, hand soap, shampoo, etc.). There is a coffee machine that is supposed to provide free coffee until 10pm (according to the staff) but that is just not the case. It will suddenly start to charge you at random times of the day. Staff is not always available. It is just not worth a short visit. If you are working or visiting long-term, perhaps it could work if you spend most of your time away. The building itself is nice and new but the location and service is just not good for a short term stay.

IrelandThe general provisions for short term letting were verry verry poor. No floor brush or dust pan with cleaning only once a week. No washing up liquid or toiletries. (half a roll of toilet paper) One bath towel and one hand towel for two people. No kitchen towel. I could go on.
Breakfast not applicable. Location good.

United Arab EmiratesWe requested late check in and we were informed that our keys will be hanged somewhere near the main entrance, THERE WAS NO KEYS AND NO RECEPTION STAFF! We were calling them and instead of them giving us the keys they told us to fix the issue with booking.com! All of that while we were sitting outside in the cold of November for 3 hours! We had to go and sleep somewhere else
