Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalClean, comfortable, nice area. For the price, I could not have asked for more. The minor inconvenience I had during my stay was quickly solved. Not that close to the main tourist attractions but just a bus ride away.

United KingdomHeating controllable from the flat would be good- it was a little bit hot for our tastes. Stain on the mattress protector could have been cleaned. Screen or shower curtain in the bath so that you can use the shower. Just a couple of niggles.
Really convenient for us attending the football at Millwall. Flat had everything we needed and was a convenient hub. I liked being able to check in via key safe at a time that suited us, and 11am check out is good. Bottled water and tea/coffee and long life milk pots in the room was handy. Nice view over the garden and the street and neighbours seem friendly.

United KingdomGreat, comfy single bedroom accommodation in Deptford. 10 minute walk from the train station and then only 20 mins on the train to London Bridge. Brilliant for a couple of nights away.

United KingdomPersonal taste but not keen on metal headboards! The shower took a very long time to heat up but was fine when it did. Little bit of a walk to the nearest stations 10-15 mins
The room was a good size and had a mini kitchen area including hob and fridge. Everything I needed for a weekend in London

That is really good studio. 4 of them in the house, each has a private bathroom and small kitchen. Also a big kitchen and two toilets in the house. The garden with table, you can have meals. All clean. The area is quite. Bus stop very close, so you can go to London Bridge or Greenwich by 188 bus, takes 20-30 minutes. Bed was comfortable. So really recommend

AustraliaStank from the plugin air fresheners mounted in my room and elsewhere. When I finally managed to air out the smell (after turning the ones I could find off) there was a subtle foul smell that might have been mold but was definitely unpleasant. Cleaners had not done a complete job as the toilet seat and bathroom mirror needed cleaning, the quilt had white stains and there was detritus on the floor. Also, the interior fit out was shoddy. The TV and mirrors weren't mounted straight, the floor boards weren't all level, bed creaked at the slightest excuse, lighting in the kitchenette was poor after dark because of light positioning issues and you could only open the shower door so far before hitting the toilet. Heating didn't seem to be on so it did get cold overnight. Finally, my studio faced the street and didn't seem to have any sound insulation so I heard everything. I was reacting badly to something present in the flat so left after my second night out of four booked. Admittedly, I could have tried to arrange something with the Manager like a move to another studio in the building but I didn't think that would help and at that point I was feed up. I did ask for a partial refund but the manager seems to have gone incommunicado when pressed.
It did have all the basics for a long stay in a private ensuite, kitchenette and access to a shared washer/dryer and full kitchen. Also, was cheap as a way to get these in London, which is what attracted me in the first place.

United KingdomHowever on this occasion I didn’t realise my room was not en suite. The shower and toilet are 2 flights down. And the shower was pumping out hot water. I couldn’t use it. However Kunle provided me with a satisfactory solution.
I’ve stayed here before and was very happy
