I think if I booked again I would like a bathroom attached to the room as we normally book a room where we have this

not 100% about the bathroom. It is interesting but not that comfortable

it is an interestring stylish house, old house with the view to the sea and road, you can watch tides in tide pool and activities on the sea front. Room is spaciuos bed is very comfortable, warm. It was easy to find, easy sent instructions how to find the key. We found a lovely cake, tea coffe etc on arrival and it was such a nice extra touch after long journey. Host was very helpfull about what and where to go and do so we enjoyed our stay a lot

The bathroom being separate wasn’t entirely clear when booking however wasn’t so much of an issue as didn’t seem as if anyone else was using it! The checkout being 9:30 is very early!

Amazing location within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Sea view was wonderful. Bed was comfy!

The bed wasn’t very comfortable ,for us anyway , too soft , and low , I think it would be better for couples if it was a queen , I think this one was a double, probably fine for a solo traveller though .

Location was amazing , close to the train station , bus stops right outside the door if you needed it . Nice big bath in the bathroom , unfortunately I didn’t get to use it this time. There was a welcome fruit cake in the room with a knife set up , I thought that was lovely ☺️

Only downside was that the bathroom was separate, but no issues actually arose other than the worry that doors opening and closing in the middle of the night disturbed other guests (I'm pregnant so my bladder doesn't allow me the grace of a full nights sleep!) I do think the price was steep for what it was - I'd h ave been more comfortable with £50 less but I suppose the price went up as there was an event on at Dreamland (which is why we were there!) and accommodation was in demand!

Access info was clear and very easy to follow. The room was welcoming, bright and warm. The view was gorgeous (we were so lucky with the weather!)

The bathroom was separate from the bedroom, but this was just a small thing.

Room was large, location couldn't be better...short walk to the station and right on the beach. The view from the room window was excellent...sea view from large windows. The bed was super comfy too. The bathroom was huge, with a large bath and powerful shower.

Our stay was perfect. The hotel was very peaceful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely comfy bed! We were so close to everything. We stayed to see a concert at Dreamland and it was about a 3 min walk away. The hotel provide plenty of local tourist info to peak our interest too! The was also a short walk to all the little breakfast spots nearby and the view of the beach in the morning was lovely to wake up to! We loved our stay!

The rattle-y middle drawer that was really awkward and annoying to pull out/push back, in the chest of drawers below the porthole window. Bathroom window hinge was dusty and dirty.

Fantastic location, great view. Room was large and tidy, clean. Host was friendly, welcoming and info both in writing and verbally super useful, and accurate! Best Fish n chips/beach/restaurant recommendations were spot on.

The water in the shower could have been warmer.

I don't think there is a better location in Margate, close to the station and it's right on the beach. Beautiful, historic building and the interior reflects its character. Atmospheric to wake to a sea view in the morning across from the landmark Nayland Rock Hotel. The info pack and video from the host before our stay was very helpful.

Fir the price I would have expected a small fridge in the room and bathrobes to be provided as bathroom/toilet was sperate from room
